Richard “Dick” Dickson at tight end maybe?

Damn, I didn’t know Dickson was most productive tight end, Mason Taylor will shatter that record before he leaves. I think Taylor may have around 800-900 yards this season. Then, when he’s a Junior, Nuss will really feed him and he will be first LSU tight end with 1,000 yards

6 receivers and no Wendell Davis ?

Yeah that was back when tight ends were primarily blockers. However, Dickson had 2 TDs in the ‘07 national championship game and Thaddeus Moss had 2 in the ‘19 championship game so maybe we should look for the tight end in this year’s championship game…

Wendell Davis over who? Not over Reed, JJ, Clayton, Chase, Bowe or OBJ

Henry Thomas was the best DT/NT I ever saw at LSU. Go watch some games on YouTube from 1986 and you will agree.

I don’t recall Henry Thomas, who should I put him in for?
ETA-I put him in for Lavalais, dude looked solid

This is a great attempt OP. These things are almost impossible to do at certain positions. That WR group is off the charts. It's so loaded that you list six WRs and guys like Wendall Davis, Eric Martin, and Brandon LaFell still don't make the cut.

I’m still trying bignic26, I keep making adjustments based on what y’all say

Disagree in general on DL not being that deep. Guys like Henry Thomas, Brockers, Wroten and Bennie Logan come to mind.
What about Mingo?

Over Bowe or Clayton. He was 20 years before his time.
He was SEC player of the year, a 2 time All American, and made that offense go. He caught 183 balls in the 80s, bro. Davis left LSU as the leader in receptions in a game (14) and in a single season (80), in single-season receiving yardage (1,244), in receiving TDs (11) in yards per game (113.1) and in career receiving yards (2,708). All in a run first era .
Bowes best season he caught 65 balls for 880 yards.
Better stats than Clayton too.

I’m going 3 deep and put him in, I didn’t realize how good he was

Add Foster Morreau at TE

Eric Andolsek - He should be a starter. Lewis and Peterman are probably interchangeable with about a half dozen other solid linemen.
