I'm sure these names have been mentioned, but I didn't make time to read the rest of the thread.....
CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL (E.B.R. Parish)
At least 3 made NFL rosters.... STEVE ENSMINGER, SHAWN BURKS and TODD MCCLURE. MICHAEL BURKS (Shawns older brother) also started at center at LSU but was average at best. I would have to say TODD McCLURE was the best because he still starts at center for the Atlanta Falcons and he was at LSU during the "bring back the magic" years. STEVE is best known for throwing 5 t.d. passes in one game to the same receiver (Carlos Carson), SHAWN was the first linebacker to lead LSU in tackles for three straight seasons and TODD was rock steady, hardly ever get a penalty, reliable coach on the field ALL-SEC center.
