Time heals all... But the embarrassment and ridicule of tiger nation Monday. Lol. At least the saints TRIED to win despite 5 turnovers and being down 17-0.
I'm not tryin to be negative but the manner of how we lost is just appalling. Still got another 8 months of torture and ridicule til Mett the savior....

What embarrassment and ridicule? You people seem to have forgotten that, even with the win, they are still from Alabama.

I consider that a win in my book.

That is the best comment yet! Like posting on a message board is going to bring more embarrassment than the performance by the 3-million dollar coach did!

Attention-Attention: Its not the fact that LSU lost. Its how LSU lost. The bama coaches were coaching their arse off and still did not score a TD until approximately the 5:20 mark of the 4th quarter understand. LSU talent stood tall as long as they could. The person they depended on, believed in, the person they believed would put them in position to win, the person they believed would make the right decisions in the best interest of the TEAM is called coach and the LSU head coach crapped in his pants. He let the team down; he let the school down, and embarrassed & let the people that believed in him “the players” down in the support of one individual.

Your problem is that you cannot defend that lack of coaching with a win loss record. In the past LSU has lost their share of games by large margins and fans have dealt with it. It was either coaching (Hallman, DiNardo etc.) or LSU simply didn’t have the talent to compete for 4-quarters. This loss is much different. Based on this season we thought we had the coaching and we knew we had the talent to compete and potentially win. Miles took that away when he decided not to give his team a chance to win by changing QB’s, he didn’t even attempt to sit Jefferson for a series to allow him to regain his composure. Maybe that was because the bama defense was sitting his arse down enough for him.

At the end of the day its not Jefferson’ fault regardless if you like or dislike him. He did what most players do; he kept going back out on the field when the coach is sending him. Less Miles allowed his stubbornness to cloud his judgment with an intent to teach the LSU fans, they will not determine which QB he will play. I dare them to boo my chosen one. The bottom line is two fold- Miles and Miles alone is responsible for this embarrassing loss and he remains Nick Saban’s bitch. Bring up the other record (3-3) and the most important one is Nick took the National Championship from Miles. Les may have received the COY on paper- Saban took it on the field.

i honestly believe that if miles were coaching in the nfl where there is no recruiting his teams would be bottom-feeders, and would lose 75% of close games where coaching is the deciding factor between winning and losing. And i think you could surround him with a great supporting cast of asst coaches, and he would still lose repeatedly because of him having to call plays instead of the OC during games. He need to stay right where he is where recruiting must account for at least 60-70% of winning. And that is a generous number. Maybe it should be 70-80%

Coulda been 13-0 in '06. If not for the love affair with JaMarcus Russell.

Starting a thread about it isn't helping the situation.

The idiots will probably see this and start 8 more "Fire Les Miles" threads. Everyone needs to just get over it. Les shouldn't be fired and he won't be fired. Talking about it from either side is just beating a dead horse.

LA BIRDMAN--The fans that pay enormous amounts of money and time to support LSU have every right in the world to demand more that what they were served last Mon. Miles was just stubborn and allowed his ego to rule. Fire him, of course not but he is not above being called on the carpet. He makes millions and it is his job to put on a better performance for the fans that what he gave them that day.

I agree with you birdman, I posted something along these lines last week. But, some folk are still pissed.. and this is the place for em. Good or bad. I agree, its time to move on, we had a great season, and a better one coming in 2012.

You can like Miles, you can dislike him. But this is beyond ridiculous. You call yourselves Tiger fans? You look like a bunch of 2 year olds. And have for the last 4 days. Get over it. 13-0 for the first time in school history. Damn, you're insulting the program. Move on.

I agree 100%

I have friends that are telling me that they would take Butch Davis over Miles right now if they could switch the coaches out..
