Your post perfectly describes the problem with the team. You say the guys coming off the bench suck, but also want the guys who are playing to be benched. So you want guys that are playing to be bench but don’t want the guys that are benched to be playing.

Exactly! Not being able to hit the ball and all the dang shifts that never work are what hurt us. Curiel up with bases loaded and 2 outs, show everyone how good you “are” and drive in a couple. Nope, weak fly ball to LF. Just an average team by LSU baseball standards. Top 9, 2 outs and man on 2nd, their guy drives him home.

Bad luck.. pearson's double play was a foot away from extra bases. Stanny also hit it right in the screws right at em. Milams HBP would have tied the game if he just gets out of the way. Curiels first pitch was a borderline strike.

A win tomorrow and they’re .500 in conference after a road series and home series against a top 10 team. .500 in conference gets you a 2 seed at worst, and borderline regional host.
So, explain how they “aren’t relevant” less than 2 series into conference play.
