How sick and helpless must all other conferences across the nation feel? If you think we’re sick of Bama, can you imagine how sick everyone else must be of the SEC?

My fiancé knows zero, zilch, notta about football, or any other sport. She is a midwestern girl from Illinois so, of course, she knows about the history of Michigan football. She sat down and watched about 10 minutes of Georgia vs Michigan then looked at me and said... “Look how much bigger and faster Georgia is! Why did Michigan have to play them?! They’re going to get hurt!!” ?? ?? ??

I swear on my life... true story.

you do know that every SEC lost their bowl games, every single one, except for bama and georgia

i think the other conferences are doing very well beating any SEC team not in the NC game

but yes, your point is valid that the SEC is the standard that all others must strive to be

Check the seedlings of conference match ups. The SEC almost always has lower tier teams against the tops of other conferences.

You pick 3 different ways to tell us that every SEC team lost, except Bama and Georgia. You were so sure, yet so wrong.

But yes, the SEC lost a bunch of meaningless bowl games that nobody cares about, including the teams that played in them. Yes, the SEC was probably "down" overall this year as a whole. Even through all that, the SEC is still playing with two teams in the national title. And the best two other teams couldn't even put up a fight. The Alliance failed.

Bowl games outside of the CFP is meaningless. Lots of times its not even the same team in the field for the bowl game that was on the field during the season.

Just today for the Ross Bowl I believe OSU has 5 sitting out. Cant compare wins/losses of bowl games to the strength of the team.

That said, I'd have much rather seen Michigan and Cincinnati play for the championship.

It’s not the SEC. It’s Bama and Georgia then everyone else.

You’re correct but a few will jump on and try to make silly points. Watch the games that matter and you’ll see the truth.

Yep, it's always big 10 #3 versus SEC #25, and then the big 10 is still lucky to squeak out a win. If you played 1 against 1, 2 against 2 etc .. All the way down the line against ANY league, the SEC would DOMINATE.

Most sec teams not in playoffs have their best players opt out for NFL. Other teams have less nfl talent

And this also does not take into account the unbelievable number of SEC players that quit, I mean opt out, for bowl games. The SEC talent not playing in post season is dramatic and has an impact on outcomes.

SEC is 5-5 in bowls beating the #2, #4, and #15 teams. If Ole Miss wins tonight you can add the #7 to that list.

I realize your post was before today, but it was dumb to say that before the better teams even played.
