What a dumbass move for this kid. He won’t even get drafted. Who’s advising these guys???

Enjoy this new trend. Within 5 years, college players will play only long enough to establish what their "advisors" think is their NFL worth and then bye bye. Don't believe me? Ed Oliver.

He's not very good, but do you know what practice squad minimum is? It's pretty good money.

FWIW, Alexander was going to be suspended for the bowl game had he not declared, so it really doesn't matter.

A spot on an NFL Practice Squad in 2019 should be worth about $120,000.
A three year Undrafted Free Agent contract will be approaching $2 million, with the year one salary being a bit over $600,000.

So even if a player doesn't get drafted, he can still do alright for himself in the NFL.

sure, if it's a given he makes the practice squad and also assuming he stays around for three years. The more likely scenario, given his knees, is he needs a college degree

Maybe but that's not the case with Alexander. He's not worth much in draft terms at this point. His reason is his knees. They won't hold up much longer and I think he's just trying to grab as much money as he can while he still has some ability left in him.

IMO he's going to be lucky if anyone takes that risk. They will likely have to work on him for a full year and make him lose all that bad weight before he even steps foot onto a field. But the NFL is loaded and someone might think he's worth the chance. IMO he would be a decent player if he's fully healthy in peak condition and isn't being played every snap while being double teamed on everyone of those snaps.

It's time for Shelvin and Livingston to step up. Those two need to make running, walking, jogging, pushing/pulling cars, sleds and anything else that weighs a ton their daily routine this offseason. Ed O and this training staff needs to get on this OL and DL in the offseason.

I don’t think they give a shite to be honest. They could care less if LSU wins or loses the bowl game. That’s why you can’t say enough about Devin White’s love for the game and his team.

I hope Livingston is ready to provide depth at NT

Livingston and Shelvin are not the answer agains this team. They will go fast-fast, and what we need are lots of well condiioned quick linemen. Lawrence, Logan, Farrell, Justin, Cotton, and Jenkins are who we need.

Look for a lot of sets with two linemen, four linebackers, Delpit in the box, and four other DBs playing man coverage. Our young corners need to be able to cover these guys.

I wish OP would explain why he decided to make this thread. It was completely unnecessary with the other threads and it brought nothing new to the board. This is stupid and should be bannable.
