BINGO! I must say that's the best comparison I can think of myself.

I always liked Ryan's short compact swing

Yea, in our wildest dreams

But the fact that Bregman is a already projected to be in the 3 hole has my hopes pretty high.

I don't think he will be "surprising" any pitchers since he will be batting in the 3 hole as a freshman. But you have to love the protection of having the SEC homerun leader batting behind him, and the nation's BA leader standing on 1st batting before him (or possibly after Katz).

3. Bregman
4. Rhymes
5. Katz

so where do you expect them?

They already reported Bregman at 3. Katz was made for the clean up spot. So IMO Raph needs to be in the 2 hole to maximize his ABs.

The 3/4/5 has pretty much been publicly stated by Mainieri.

Guess you can't really go wrong with those three. Mainieri will change the lineup 15 times in the 17 games before conference, so I'm sure we will see many combinations.

Exactly, it will change more than a few times before conference play starts.

also the white team was wearing a new jersey this year. dont know if they plan on using it during the season.

it was all white tops, white pants, interlocking lsu on chest.

similar to the greys and pinstripes we had last year.
