Alex Box field condition

I haven't seen any pitures of the field or been to any of the games, but how does the field look? I know Baton Rouge had some cold temps this winter. Hopefully I'll be able to make it down for the Cal State series and see for myself.

I haven't seen anyone bitching about it like they do Tiger Stadium so thats always good.

i am glad they ripped up the natural grass and have that new sports turf like they have at tulane .. it looks great .. especially with the huge toonces painted in centerfield .. you can barely see mahtook in that thing ..

at this time of the year, turf rye grass has had all winter to pretty up.

for football, the bermuda starts going dormant as soon as it cools off and there isn't enough growing time for the rye to get pretty.

that's the difference
