How come they can serve alcohol in the suites and what not but no where else in the stadium?

Because those not confined to a box are not to be trusted with any more alochol than they have consumed prior to the game.

Not a good enough answer...I heard that the SEC won't allow alcohol in the SEC stadiums during SEC games...it's ok when the Saints played here but not when we play...what is the loophole for the suites?

I had to scrape a 16 year old girl off the FLOOR in the Women's bathroom on Saturday night... She was incoherent and vomiting profusely. I imagine that they (Tiger Athletics, NCAA, LSU, etc...) wouldn't want college students binge drinking and having to scrape them off the bathroom floors either...

Money can get you around an arrest it can get you around a ticket...it can get you around a lot...but it is hard to imagine that the SEC said "ok LSU as long as your richest are the ones drinking and you give us a slice of the profits to spread around it is ok...drink up"

Hell, I've seen people serve alcohol all over tiger stadium.

They mostly serve it from flasks or pint bottles kept in their socks or in girls purses.

University Approved Sites: Sites designed by the

University as approved locations for
the service and consumption of alcohol whether as a part of fixed retail food and
beverage operations or as professionally catered events. The Office of the Dean of
Students and the Office of Finance and Administrative Services maintain a list of
University Approved Sites (e.g. Faculty Club, LSU Union, the Tiger Den Suites, and the
Club Seating Area).

I've heard that the suites are built so that they aren't technically touching the stadium, therefore they are allowed to serve alcohol up there.

SlidellTiger...your an idiot...with your theory i should be able to give them 100G's then go to my regular seat and they will bring me a beer or allow me to bring in my ice chest...but i guarantee you that with the sheriff asks me to leave and takes my ice chest if i tell him "no it's ok, i donated some money and LSU said it was cool"...my arse will still be outside thumping my nuts wishing i were inside watching the game.

Bingo- I'm not sure how they count these seat as the attendance, but they're not technically part of tier stadium. That's why the TAF can have all of those seats (TAF can only have ~20% (?)) of the seat in tiger stadium, but since these are not they get all 22k seats in the upper decks.

Well then good work!

At the MSU game I witnessed a young lady (maybe 16) unlikely of college age stumble down the stairs, fall on top of 2 guys in their seats. It was so awkward for the 100 or so people that saw because of what she was wearing.
