Did anyone catch Les' statement to Gordy in the locker room after game. Talking about the lack of offense? He said " I would love to have a running play I could call that would get 5 yards every time. I would call it over and over again" . Sounds like he is calling the plays to me.

True, but risher doesn't or hasnt ever coached to my knowledge. I seriously doubt he could do a better job on a week to week, year to year basis. It's not about just one game. He'd also have to recruit kids to fit what he wants to run. Risher just needs to stick to saying okay on the radio.

The 35 passes is just not his mo though. That's why I don't think he calls plays. Add to the fact he doesn't always have a play sheet in front of him. So if he's just going by memory, he's not as dumb as people say he is. So that doesn't really stay with the narrative.

I went back and watched highlights of jmarc and Flynn. Rarely ran out of the I. Never ran pistol under Jimbo. 2007 comes around and LSU is running the option out of the pistol, something crowton picked up coaching at Oregon. The offense has been diff under each coordinator.

Screw you Red. Everybody's entitled to their opinion You just flat can't stand anyone who has a positive thing to say. Just because he isn't stabbing Miles in the back, you get your feelings hurt. You're fricking pathetic. Worst poster on this board. Congrats a-hole!

you do realize that we're still calling the same plays as 2006 and we've had 4 coordinators since then?

One more time kiddies.

CAM CAMERON IS CALLING PLAYS BASED ON THE "STAGED AND SCRIPTED" GAME PLAN THAT LES MILES APPROVES OF.

Cam may be calling the plays up in the press box, but it's all the stuff that Les Miles wants. This is 100% Miles conceived and approved. CCC may get a few things in there, but it's Les all the way. And please don't anybody delude themselves into thinking it's not..............

What head coach doesn't? Seriously, if the head coach isn't involved in the game plan, why the hell is he the coach?

Oh, Miles may not call plays, but he has absolute veto power and uses it.

Mike Tomlin played WR at William and Mary. FYI

Yeah, I was thinking of Tomczak, and not the Steelers.
I thought I remembered a brief coaching stint by Mike Tomczak somewhere in the NFL but looks like I was wrong on that.

The point was that it isn't guaranteed that a former QB will make a good coach and the poster I replied to said "WELL SPURRIER DISAGREES". You can name 1000, it still won't change the fact that the guy I replied to didn't understand the point that was made

of course elite teams make dumb mistakes. Nobody's saying Bama, or any other top team, is perfect.

But I guarantee you the best teams make a lot fewer dumb mistakes than most. Because they're well-coached.

Look, football isn't rocket science.

All Risher really means is that a QB who understands the game (the need for unpredictability, balance, taking advantage of our strengths and opponents weaknesses, etc.) can probably call a decent game. And I tend to agree.

The last time you responded to one of my posts and personally attacked me was on 10-3-15, the thread was "how do you feel about bandwagon fans". I was responding to a post from notiger1997, not your dumbass.
