Name one pitcher in the past 5 years that has gotten significantly better under the tutelage of Dunn. Also it seems as if we have had a high number of very good starters get injured under him. One or two my be coincidence but Storz, Labas, Gilbert, Hill and Henry seems like to many. I don’t know what does the rant say?

I love Dunn but he over-works pitchers in the training time. We are so cautious with their pitch counts, but work the heck out of them when they aren’t in the game.

I'll name you three who got significantly better this year alone.

Fontenot, Vietmier, Moffitt.

2 of those came to LSU with arm issues.

Can you give the specifics of what is done to over work the heck out of pitchers when they aren't in the game?

It's funny how people are complaining so much about our 2 strike pitching like it's something new. LSU gave up an unbelievable amount of 2 strike hits in Dunn's first season in 2012. Some things don't change.

Aaron Nola had a 3.61 ERA his freshman year. Rounded out his junior year with a 1.47. I'd say that's a decent improvement...

Nola left 6 seasons ago.

Great investigative work. I guess my point is completely null now that I missed the cut off by 1 year.

Alex Lange was pretty good here and was a first round draft pick

Lange's best season was freshman year.

Notice how you didn’t mention one starter. I’ll give you Devin but Vietmier’s ERA went up from last year and Mofitt pitched all of 19 innings I don’t think you can consider that significantly better.

3 of 5 starters were freshman. 1 was coming off of TJ surguery. The other was Hess.

Guys have to be a starter to make an improvement?

Well, you said name one. And you just admitted to one, so there you go.

Not sure how you can watch Vietmier and Moffitt from two seasons ago and say they didn't improve. Moffitt threw basically zero meaningful innings two seasons ago. This season he gave us some very meaningful innings, and did well. Same with Vietmier. He gave us meaningful innings this season. You are blind if you say there was no improvement in those two players.

That’s why I said in the last 5 years. We’ve had more than 5 starters come in as freshman in that time span.

Unless you have a link or can prove you have first hand knowledge of LSU’s pitching / training sessions then you have no idea what you are talking about.
Because some guy on the Rant said he “knew” Dunn made them throw non-stop during the week doesn’t mean it’s true.

Why does that matter one bit? You said name one guy, I named three. Then you started changing the narrative because you were wrong.

I’m glad you want a pitching coach who can only improve a few bullpen guys in 5 years.

You asked a question. A few people have given you reasonable answers. You change your question to include only "starters" whatever the frick that matters. Why exactly did you make this thread? If you just want to bitch, go ahead and bitch.
