Dont see how a team can improve playing that type of competition...to me...that would be an advantage for LSU.

I agree with this.......

Georgia was three points better than us, at home mind you, after losing a close game, and winning in another competitive game.

IMO, their schedule helped them know how to gut one out.

If we beat Bama, it'll be a close game. And the loss to Georgia will have been a lesson.

Even the Broncos couldn't get through that nightmare of a schedule.

Only one you could laugh at is Kentucky, really. UT is the permanent rival. Not Bama's fault they suck now like Bama did in the early 2000's. GA State is Bama's version of Furman for LSU. Arky is a Western division opponent.

We all look at these things through tinted glasses. Your glasses are tinted purple when you see the above. Mine are tinted Crimson when I see the below:

LSU's Bama preparation begins 10/20.

10/26 - Furman
11/2 - BYE
11/9 - Bama
11/16 - BYE
11/23 - A&M

You've got 2 legit games in 5 weeks. Try to be at least a little objective.

That stretch of games for Bama = LSU's first 5. What's the problem?

You're kidding right? An Alabama graduate custom designed this schedule so you could replace Georgia with Kentucky. Kidding? It's a freaking joke.

The bridge schedule was fricking horse shite and you know it, not even the biggest bama homer can deny that.

And sure it's not your fault UT sucks now but it's also shitty we have to bend over backwards to preserve a lame rivalry game that hasn't been relevant in a long time.

Dude......

If you want to call us out for being whiners and beating dead horses, we're guilty.

But please, do NOT try and say that the problem in the scheduling doesn't exist.

It's MAIN problem just happened this past weekend. At least half of it did. Other than some variation of the following sentence - The schedule was rigged such that Alabama didn't have to play Georgia, and LSU did - there is no plausible explanation for the fact that y'all have Kentucky this year, and we have Georgia.

Thank you for admitting that undeniable truth. So many on these boards act like it's Bama somehow warping it in their benefit just b/c UT sucks.

No one complains that Ole Miss has a permanent rival of Vandy. No one complains that MSU's permanent rival is Kentucky. The only team that catches flack for their permanent cross divisional rival is Bama. It's odd.

I get where LSU fans are coming from, but if the only real gripe you have is around ONE game (Bama gets UK while LSU gets UGA), then that doesn't warrant the constant complaining about scheduling, IMO. That's all I'm saying.

I'm sure we will be getting our shot at UGA in December and we won't be hearing LSU complain anymore about how unfair the schedule is

I'm glad the Bama fan base could enter this thread and set the record straight.

Bama and LSU both play equally difficult schedules. LSU fans are crazy and irrational conspiracy theorists. Instead of complaining about scheduling inequities, LSU should just suck it up and beat the teams on its schedule just like Bama does year-in-and-year-out.

Roll Tide.

No, we gripe bc we play FL every single year to accommodate Bama's precious rivalry with TN, a rivalry that no one outside the SEC knows about and no one inside the SEC cares about. Why would we bitch about Ole Miss or anyone else? It's Bama pushing the permanent opponents.

And y'all had an alum switch Ky with UGA this year. So Bama avoids UGA, FL, and SC. You are a pussy if you think that's a fair and deserving schedule.

Ok well if you think one conf game matters so little then why didn't your scheduler just keep UGA? Since its just one game.

You do realize no single person makes the schedule, right? There is a group of people who make a draft, that draft is reviewed by other people (including Slive), revisions are made (often recommended by Slive), and then the final schedule is completed.

If Slive had a problem with it and thought it was "unfair" then he would have put a stop to it. Again, continue the narrative that the world is against you. Whatever helps you sleep at night.
