I think the OP is wrong to bitch about Bama's schedule this year. The real problem, and its been beaten to death on here, is the permanent division opponents.

Bama and UGA were scheduled to play each other this year, before expansion. How convenient for both that the SEC gave them other opponents? LSU plays two of the top three teams in the East. Bama plays numbers 4 and 5. Just imagine if you were USC and got stuck playing LSU and Tx A&M while UGA plays Auburn and Ole Miss.

Really? So you play @shite,@shite,meh,@only team that recruits even close to you, and finally shite. Yeah. Not to hard.

The only fair thing to do is let Bama and auburn keep their permanent eastern team and let the others rotate. That is the only way to make everyone happy. It's really shitty to not win the west soley because of your eastern opponents.

The way some of these pussies whine about Bama not playing Florida, they should find a team in the ACC and start pulling for them. Unbelievable how many spineless fricks there are that call themselves Tiger fans.

Hey dumb frick. Answer this honestly. Does LSU have a better chance of beating Tenn. or Florida? Everything else is equal between Alabama and LSU with regards to that. Florida beats Tenn. more than Tenn. beats Florida so that answers the question that you will probably not answer.

It is not fair for one team to be locked into a harder schedule.

It is unfair that EVERY that is right EVERY team in the SEC west is locked into an easier schedule than LSU. Every one! It takes a fluke for ANY SEC west team to have an easier conf. schedule than LSU.

This is hilarious. Do you really think scheduling would decide the SEC West this year? Alabama is playing out of their minds and would probably beat any team from the east by 14+

LSUs head to head all time with the Vols is 9-20 and 5 of your 9 wins was by 7 or less.

LSUs head to head with the Gators is 25-30

It seems like over the long run, UT owns you harder than UF does. Of course right now, UT sucks and you would be better to play them but over the history of your program....you have an easier time playing us.

You get it. Where they fall on the schedule is as important as who it is. Al won't play two tough games in a row unless it is the last two on the schedule.

Where was everyone a few years ago when either 5 or 6 SEC opponents had an off week before Bama? Wasn't it 2010? The year before the number was 5 I believe.

First Alabama has no control over how shitty TN has become or the fact that our schedule was rearranged by the SEC to give UM a home game with us and so cancelling our scheduled series with GA.

Perhaps if LSU was more concerned about your own obvious problems instead of constantly fretting about AL the aubs wouldn't have nearly whipped you last Sat.

Maybe you guys need to get over last years BCSNC and start paying attention to 2012 because right now you've got a lot of ball to go before your "revenge" match with the hated evil Crimson Tide.

Which brings us to, maybe Alabama should develop some integrity and respect for the regular season. In 2003, LSU won the SEC, yet another media darling, USC, was left out. The media darling of SC was rewarded with a National Championship because "it wasn't fair that a team that didn't win their conference went the National Championship Game.

Last year, Oklahoma State went 11-1 and won the Big 12, yet all of a sudden, winning the Big 12 wasn't so important because the media darling and SEC offices love, Alabama, had to be in, even though they didn't even win their division.

We lost in the National Championship game but our conference is permanently hurt our conference for the rest of us that aren't media darlings.

BTW, in 2005 LSU, following Katrina, did not have a bye week because of the hurricane, beat Alabama and Auburn, and won the SEC West and lost to Georgia. 10-2 LSU went to the lesser paying Peach Bowl while 9-2 Alabama and Auburn went to higher paying New Years Day Bowls.

Please stop,

We both know who didn't belong in New Orleans.

It wasn't Alabama.

Hey pussy...it doesn't matter who we have a better chance of beating. When we went to permanent cross division opponents, Tennessee was every bit as tough as Florida. Just because Florida is better now is how the cookie crumbles. I cannot stand hearing "it's not fair." Maybe not at the moment, but such is life. Strap it up and beat the hell out of Florida. Playing Florida also helps us in recruiting the Sunshine St.

:wah: :wah: :wah:

eta - If we went to no permanent cross division opponents and just rotated, you'd be bitching about the years we did have the harder draw.

Bama just played SC the last 2 years and we had Tenn. I think they also played UF the last 2 years. Are you seriously crying about this? When permanent opponents with the east were set I believe Tenn and UF were both top 10 programs.

IIRC bama cried to the SEC and changes occurred after that with future scheduling?

I recall nonstop bellyaching from Gumps about how unfair their schedule was that year

If I may... What does it matter?

LSU as well as Alabama are better than any of the other teams in the SEC and they will both beat every team on their schedule (one will even beat the other in NOV.) If the schedules were flipped, they would still win every game.
