Alabama Hate for Kiffin

We have all seen the posts that Kiffin will eventually bolt for Alabama and also some that say their powers that be will never have him. My question is why?
What did Kiffin do at Alabama that makes him unpopular with some of their donors? Did he get caught fishing in another man's private pond? What is the deal? If anyone can say then I would really like to know.

It’s a lateral move to pretty much any college from here on out. I think he wants a Saban-like legacy and he can do that here. At Alabama, whatever he does will always just be a comparison to Saban’s tenure. Also what advantages would Alabama offer that LSU wouldn’t?

Lane Kiffin wasn't fired by Alabama in the traditional sense; he "left" as offensive coordinator in January 2017 to become head coach at Florida Atlantic (FAU), but coach Nick Saban ended his tenure early, just two days before the National Championship game, due to distractions and performance issues, replacing him with Steve Sarkisian for that final game.
The split followed an uneven playoff win, with Saban citing distractions from Kiffin's new role and Kiffin reportedly frustrated with Saban's coaching style, ending their successful but contentious OC stint.
Kiffin was Alabama's offensive coordinator from 2014-2016, winning a national title in 2015 but also experiencing public clashes with Saban.

Another Alabama thread? Lol.

Watching sec network Saturday and the host stated adamantly that there is no way Kiffin’s goes back to alabama. He said there was serious bad blood. He didn’t give details but you could tell he knew some stuff. My read on it was the admin and maybe boosters were not going to allow Kiffin back.

They’re losing their minds that LSU isn’t led by a loser, end of discussion.

We all remember the rumors that were going on when he was there

I’ll say this, the SEC Rant has been emotional AF about the Kiffin hiring. Particularly the Gumps

I don't think all of us do, hence the thread.

Yeah, LSU is a top 5-6 job. Is Texas better? Probably, but it's not a huge jump.
Do you have more resources at Alabama vs LSU? Not really. They've had more historical success, but that doesn't mean anything going forward.

Even more pressure there than at LSU.
At least we are conditioned to accepting 2 losses a year.
Bama is conditioned for Championships every season or it’s a failure.
I do believe DeBoer will be fired after next year tho, no doubt in my mind.
