Alabama beat out LSU for Battle in Seattle

Announced that Alabama will play Gonzaga on Dec. 4th in Seattle in the Battle for Seattle basketball game. Gonzaga also inked a home game with Alabama in 22-23 along with Texas.
Sucks Bama beat us out on a nationally televised game on CBS. It would have been a huge image boost for the basketball program.

We have our own National game against Ga. Tech on Dec 10th in ATL.

Yes, let’s choose the team that just went to the sweet 16 for the first time in almost 20 years over the team that’s finished top 3 in the conference for the last 3 years with the same amount of conference titles and sweet 16 appearances.

I guess that home game at Gonzaga was the deal breaker for LSU without getting a return game to PMAC

It’ll be afterthought in March, Gonzaga will win and Alabama will have a Tier one loss, that’s all that will come of it, college football playoffs and the heart of the NFL season will be all that’s talked about in December

National title game was an eye opening preview of how good that guy really is. Granted, he's a good college player but he's an NBA end of the bench guy. Like Frank Kaminsky from Wisconsin a few years ago. Just too slow and glued to the floor to be a difference maker.

Bama is going to be ranked higher than LSU to start the season. Doesn’t mean they will finish there, but for purposes of scheduling is is a “bigger” game in May
