I just can't stop wondering what went through Becks head when he was told to hit.

How shocked was he? Did they have to wake him up? Did he hear his name and think "did they just say my name? Nah, can't be". Then someone had to nudge him on the shoulder before he stood up?

What gives me hope is Jay has to show he’s one of the best coaches in the country the next month and a half.

Can’t go 2 years underperforming your talent.

Johnson was 12-7 in Game 3s of SEC series in 2022/2023 (5-4 in 2023 actually), and is only 5-11 in Game 3s of SEC series in 2024/2025

Does anyone expect LSU to go 6-6 against Tennessee, A&M, Arkansas, and South Carolina right now?
yes we have 3 of those at home. Avoid a sweep on the road against A&M or possibly win that series and it’s not unlikely this team can finish 8-4. 7-5 is most likely but I do think we sweep Paul to close out the regular season.

I'd think the chances of LSU going 14-16 in SEC play are greater than them finishing 18-12 or better. Does anyone expect LSU to go 6-6 against Tennessee, A&M, Arkansas, and South Carolina right now?

So you think we go 2-10 in the final 4 series with the toughest 2 at the Box?

I'd bet right now that we win at least 2 against SC, so that means we lose 1 against them and get swept the other 3 series, including 2 at home

thanks for some reason I though Paul was coming in for a homecoming. But to your point that is a series that’s looking like a for sure series win and possibly a sweep.

There's goes the satisfaction and satiation for all the Lumps (LSU Gumps) where every LSU defeat in Football and Baseball (Formerly in basketball too) is a life altering tragedy............

This is one thing I don’t like about Jay. He tends to treat games whether important or not as a tryout for bench players. Games like this you can’t do that but apparently it doesn’t matter to Jay. This loss could come back to bite you later on.

Just some late night thoughts, we could have and really should have taken the series against Texas.

Texas just swept a team that thoroughly kicked our arse last weekend.

This sport is maddening. That’s all I got.

I didn't say I think that. I said I'd bet that the odds of going 2-10 are greater than the odds of going 6-6 with the way the team has been performing the last 7 SEC games. And
