Got this tidbit take it or leave it. He’s not definitely leaving. Wants more playing time which we all can understand considering he’s entering his junior year. He may end up in Hattiesburg. Not sure the other schools but there’s a bunch.

I, for one, really would like to see him stick around.

If he wants to go pro, it makes sense to want to be somewhere his junior year he can get a ton of playing time.

Me too!! I think he does too. Playing time starter role going into his junior year is the biggest factor.

Me too. I still don't know why we didn't use him more this year. Getting your tits ripped every Sunday on your way to getting run ruled? Yeah, let's keep the guy who throws 98 and strikes just spitting seeds in pen.

Think he has the stuff. Needs to polish it up. Needs to find that role he would fit in the draft.

I saw a twitter video of him crying post with the team post UNC loss and thought that was a little odd.

Makes sense now.

He was landing 3 pitches for strikes by the end of the season. I thought he'd have a chance to get starts next season based on that.

for sure. The guy has the talent. Look at Little. It took a few seasons with control issues, but for some reason this year it finally clicked.

My honest opinion, this is him seeing if a weekend starting role is out there and does he want to leave lsu. I don’t believe he does. But if leaving means he gets a starting role…. Then he may go. Usm wants him and will give him that opportunity. Question is does lsu. Seeing what we can get out of the portal will dictate that,

Yeskie didn’t do much for the development of a lot of these young pitchers. Moffett, Cam, & Kade Anderson who was misused.

I think Moffett could have done what Dutton did this season.

Don’t count Wes Johnson and Athens out.

He'd be better off in Hattiesburg than Athens. Johnson didn't do shite with him when he had him.

How do we know the misuse is on Yeskie? Jay likely makes those decisions.

I think Moffett improved a lot from last season to this season. Much more consistent in the zone. I can't say for sure if Yeskie has anything to do with that but one would assume that he had a hand in it.
