Against bama we should let Derek stingley shadow Jerry Jeudy

I know I’m looking ahead, but in terms of matching up against Jerry Jeudy I think stingley is the best option. This isn’t an overreaction to Fulton not playing his best on a banged up ankle I just think in terms of fluidity, ball skills, and speed/athleticism stingley is the best solution against jeudy.

Because of how they play with motion and different formations Will be very hard to do that. We did put Peterson on Julio. Different offense. Different time.

It's not an overreaction at all, once Stingley started practicing late last year in bowl game prep he immediately was being called the best DB on the team. I believe he is.

It was incredible watching Texas target an All American CB and stay away from Stingley!!

Honestly Stingley might have better speed to stay with Ruggs who is somehow faster than Jeudy

Never been a big fan of they strategy. Imo match your best guy on their best guy and double the no.2 wr but that’s just me.

Fulton on Jeudy. Fulton can stick anybody. He had trouble with Texas because those giant receivers could play his game, which is lots of contact. Their size caused him to get knocked off balance. Jeudy is his size. I think he could stick him.

No he wasn’t. He was called the best corner practicing. Fulton and Greedy were not practicing. That’s not to say he’s not the best we have. Maybe he is.

Oh I did not forget anything, Fulton was a beast last year (better than Greedy), but this Texas game clearly showed he was human, Stingley's hype got 100% backed up against a really good receiving corps he just shut down in his 2nd game ever. Sometimes they arent joking when they say seemingly crazy things like Stingley was the best DB we had when he got here.

Well that's just wasting a body. If you want to double juedy and and still be Fulton on him, I wouldn't object. But don't waste two guys on #2 WR

That’s foolish. The double team shuts a receiver down completely. Why would you waste that on their second guy? You double the number 1, and single up your best guy on number two. That yields the most favorable matchups. Or you single your best on their best and single number 2 on number 2, and put a safety over the top.
