I don’t see why the rant is freaking out about him. Did he have the first string Oline in front him? He had a ton of pressure on him. When I first saw the stats I was like damn that’s not good, but after watching highlights he did not play bad. He was under pressure on damn near every pass.

Brennan has the best throwing mechanics and better touch than the other quarterbacks They will continue to fine tune his delivery, footwork and ability to read the defense and make the right decision. That means taking the safer option sometimes or just accepting a play won't work and throw it away. Much of that comes with game experience and recognition.

The other two quarterbacks do some good things also, bring an element of mobility into the game, and will be good players in time. They will be more inconsistent than Brennan. Their game is similar to Jalen Hurts though not as gifted a runner. Hurts passing is very inconsistent and his best pass plays are usually when he eludes the rush, dumps off an 8 yard pass against a fragmented defense and the receiver runs another 25 yards.

If they can coach Brennan through the ups and downs early on without turning him into a basket case like Brandon Harris by mid season he will be a force just in time for the stretch drive. The fan base needs to not over react to every negative, just let the process work. With the defense poised to be deep and talented up front and at linebacker they won't need an offensive juggernaut. If the defense can get a few scores and set up a few more with turnovers the way Alabama has done the last few seasons they can certainly be competitive in every game.

I actually saw 2 bad balls. INT and over throw in endzone. Everything else was a safe incomplete pass due to pressure.

There were more than just those. Off the top of my head I recall one where he was flagged for intentional grounding. All 3 QBs were under duress most of the time so that’s not really an excuse.

You're not alone

I'd say overall, McMillan had a better day, but the separation isn't nearly as wide as some on here have said.

I think MB is the best QB. He showed some things the other qb's didnt. His ability to thread the needle between three defenders his accuracy and arm strength are definitely better. It is hard for any of the qb's to get into a rhythm playing every third possession. Sure MB made some mistakes but playing time will correct those problems.
If The pass that went through Dillons hands in the corner of the endzone on MBs final drive of the 1st quarter would have been caught like it should have been I really believe everyone would be feeling much better about MB. It would have capped of a great drive with a great TD pass. That drive was great except for the over throw to the receiver in the back of the endzone and the knock down at the line of scrimmage and the dropped td. He showed real leadership and poise on that drive and I believe that is what we can expect from him if he is given the reigns. I feel like MB will just get better and with his high upside already he can be a real good QB for the Tigers.

I finally got to watch some of the game, and man did the Oline look bad. I've been saying for a while that I thought it was a concern. Hopefully injuries were a big part of it.

Hey, I think Narcisse is the best QB. He had the most yards and showed a lot of promise. Unfortunately our opinions mean little.

No but the other 3 were just throwing shite balls for no reason other than they are less accurate than MB.

He had some DAMN good throws, but overall didn't look ready. Worrisome how skittish he looks at times.

All the QBs looked pretty good at times, when in rhythm. Narcisse and McMillan had some real bad misses, but looked more poised in the pocket.

If it was just 7 on 7 Brennan is the choice easily but I don't have much confidence in him at this point in a live game.

Not sure how you can say that when Narcisse had the most yards passing on only half the attempts as the others. I’d be interested to see how he’d compare if he’d had 23-29 passes like the other two

Narcisse wouldn’t have had almost 100 of those yards in any sort of real action. The 94 yard pass was almost definitely a sack in live action and considering it took Jefferson a hope and a prayer to catch it without LN being hit from behind I guarantee it would not have been accurate with contact.

I agree. Even so, he had 111 yards on 12 attempts, as compared to 23 attempts for Brennan and 29 for McMillan.

Can we just play the best player and stop taking sides? Idc if turns out to be the 4th string qb. If he’s gonna help win some games that’s who I want playing

Based on Saturday, advantage McMillan with Brennan close behind. Narcisse is a distant third.

All his yards came on 2 poorly thrown balls

That's why JM looked better. He can run for yardage if the pocket collapses. MB was just trying to hurry and dump it off. MB looked nervous a lot more than JM

Poorly thrown or not, the receivers made a play and they were caught. Sometimes that's how it goes.
