After these first 3 weeks, what type of finish would make you feel better

Obviously we are going to lose more games. After seeing what we have seen these first 3 weeks what type of results for the rest of the season would make you happy?
Beating Bama?
5-5?
No blowouts?
For a lot of fans this is uncharted waters. I remember the dinardo years but that’s as far back as I go. I remember the Florida upset in 97 but even then they were a 9 win team. Just curious at this point what would make people feel decent about the season.

Be competitive in losses to Florida and Bama and beat everyone else.
Obviously see major improvements from the defense, OL, and running game.

Making a bowl game at this point. Can’t believe I’m saying that either

Honestly, without the cupcake games to add wins I don’t see this team making a bowl game. I hope I’m wrong but I really don’t see it.

Anything less than 7-3 is completely unacceptable

Tbh if we beat bama, we could lose every other game and I would almost be content.

3 wins is the ceiling! Only winnable games left are South Carolina and Arkansas.

That’s why I’m hoping we can make a bowl game at this point lol. Any other year no more than 4 losses and 4 losses is devastating

Running the table, finishing 8 & 2. I want a consistent top 5 program, whereby we reload every season. Obviously we're not there yet. But you asked what'll make me feel better at this point. Winning out is what I want.

Beat Bama and Aggies...

Shifting the goal posts after losses is a bad trend.
If you expected a 10-win season before the schedule change, that's 7-3/8-2.

0-10 is bowl eligible this season. So making a bowl isn't a lofty goal and has already been achieved

I wanted an 11-win season. I want the exact same thing Clemson and Alabama have - a true top 5 program.

This is the realistic expectation. Anything else and you’ll only disappoint yourself.
I’d love to be wrong, but I seen nothing to give me any more hope.

LSU is the defending national champion.
It has one of the highest staff budgets in all of college football.
Orgeron is in year four, with a roster comprised almost exclusively of his hand-picked players.
Every coach on staff was either hired by Orgeron, promoted by Orgeron, or retained by Orgeron. This is “his” program.
Losing to two of the worst teams in the conference has completely ruined the season. It is an objective failure on his part. Unless he goes 8-0 the rest of the way and gets into the playoffs or NY-6, the season can only be looked at as such.

I’d be thrilled is we somehow go better that 5-5.

4-6 is in the future. Bama L, Fla L, Ole Miss L, A&M L. A&M is revenge game. Pay back time. Mond will look like Drew Brews this night.

with this defense, pulling out a 2nd win somewhere would be an accomplishment

I just want to see consistent growth. Let the youngsters play a lot especially the young linebackers.
