Yeah the loss is whatever. We've seen LSU lose games on the road in the SEC against lesser teams than ole miss. The loss of Trey'Dez is a much bigger problem. I always saw Dae'Quan Wright as an insurance policy more than anything. A redundancy. It's a shame he wasn't allowed to play.

They won on the back of a 6th year QB, who will likely be in NY for the Heisman ceremony.

We made great adjustments and nearly pulled it off on the road against a top 10 team.

I’m the hundred years we’ve played ole Miss we’ve beat them far more than they have beat us. Rarely have they been truly better than us. This year they are.

We hired Kiffin because the program needed new life. The program is fine and will flourish under Kiffin (if he stays).

As for Leavitt. He has to get better. And I think he will Jayden improved as did Burrow.

At the end of the game we had the ball with a chance to tie and and drove all the way down to the 5 yard line. We came up short. That happens.

But show me a qb on our schedule who is as good as Chambliss. Maybe Arch? Though he isn’t nearly as skilled IMO.

No one on the schedule throws as well as Chambliss.

If we win next week against a Texas AM team that lost at home to an unranked Kentucky team, things set up well for us until November.

By November we will know much more about our team.

Championships are not won in September.

Nope. They played hard in that second half. Delivered several hard hits.
It was they dug themselves into a hole and LOST SPEARS. Look at the big plays. Lack of depth on the backend killed on several plays and losing containment.

You probably never heard of Spears being one of the leading tacklers on the team. Otherwise, you would have said differently.

If leavit can run the designed plays without panicking and hit wide open throws, LSU has a much better 1st half.......and probably goes on to win.

The plan was simple, contain him and make him throw. And it worked easily. He was scared, overwhelmed, and inaccurate on short easy throws.

He did throw a great ball on the td fade.

He choked in many situations. The offense shuttered because Kiffen was trying to run the offense from the sideline, instead of Leavitt having field control

Sometimes guys like him prove they can play at a high level. He proved he was recruited right where he neededbto be, and not at the top tier of the sport.

The SEC is different and everyone can run. His little waterbug type moves were not a challenge.

He was held in check and simply couldnt throw to some wide open guys
