I tried the give the man the benefit of the doubt, you can check my post history during the season. I didn’t get too hung up on losses even though some were terrible, it was his first full year we had a lot of players leave via the draft transfers and players dismissed, so I wanted to be patient and pay more attention to the way he handled it and the way he tweaked things for the future when it would be 100% his team. In all the areas you judge a coach by he’s failed and failed miserably, from the way he handled his current staff to hiring the new staff members to recruiting to his overall behavior, it’s been a disaster. He hasn’t spent his time and energy setting LSU football up for future success he’s only interested in making self serving decisions. An I’ll tell you something els Alleva tried to reign him in on the Canada situation but he saw Os true face during that mess and you can bet that’s why Aranda got thecontract he did and also why Bush was hired pretty much under Coach Os nose. I know people have Alleva but he’s not tied to O and he won’t go down with O.

I believe the poster you quoted is one of your ilk - a miserable hater. You may as well post LSU will go undefeated and win a national championship and use that in your argument. that's basically what you are doing here.

I would imagine the prisons would be overflowing if every guy who called one of those establishments was caught and thrown in jail. If it wasn't for the use of the school's phone it wouldn't have been a problem.

Agreed but just because he was an idiot and got caught for that, it does not mean he WAS NOT a successful coach. Probably top 2 or 3 at Ole Miss.

It's just words. I admit I only read a small amount of it and nothing he says is going to make me personally feel better. He hasn't kept a single word he said any ways.

I'll feel better about things once O is out I think.

If I was doing that I would have included Austin Thomas. Even though he isn't a coach, he went from a recruiting assistant in his first stint under Eaux at Tennessee to a general manager in his third stint under him. Some people on this board wanted to pay him a million bucks per year to get him to stay at LSU when the UT job came up.
