That we have zero identity on offense.

“Spread them out”

“Multiple sets”

“Vast array of things we can do”

HOW ABOUT YOU GET YOUR OWN IDENTITY TO HANG YOUR HAT ON?!??! You soft headed SOB!

Why are we visiting the F’n San Diego Super Chargers for offense after spring!? Pro players do football 24/7....college players have 15-18 hours of class and homework etc. why would you try to run a complicated offense?!?!

Why not visit Clemson or even the Eagles (if you must visit a pro team) to try to SIMPLIFY YOUR OFFENSE

And from what little practice video I watched I see the qbs under center again. FML

bama had an identity going into the championship. That identity didn't help them much in the first half. They changed their identity in the second half. Voila. Identities are exaggerated.

BS

That freshman came in and ran the same offense...maybe a little simplified....hit his first three rpo passes and ran it better than Jalen Hurts

You’re wrong

That is the identity.

They can easily spread the field and be multiple under center. Spreading them out and being multiple necessarily mean shotgun. You can be multiple out of the I formation if you want.

Visiting as many teams as possible is a good thing. Get as many takes on how to do things, pick out the stuff you like and come up with the system that works best for you.

But you're right Ensminger should be willing to try any and everything on this offense.

Yeah in matt Canada’s offense you can be multiple under center. But we cut him out.

The passing game does NOT need to come from a pro system. Period.

Don't let it bother ya too bad bud. The offense will be pathetic once again, and LSU will move one step closer to ending this cluster frick of an experiment. LSU allowed a head coach and an offensive coordinator to be hired, that literally no other team in America would have hired. Shouldn't the current sub-par results be expected? These guys have never succeeded in their respective positions throughout their careers, but LSU decided to be "Geriatric Reject University." It will be over with before you know it, so just hope and pray that the powers that be will get their heads out of their asses and make decent hires next time.

Wait you’re mad we don’t have an identity on Day 1 of spring while breaking in a new QB, new RB, new WRs & a new OC?

Couldn’t you wait until August to melt?

The O era is built on just saying a bunch of catchy phrases which don't get backed up.

At first blush it does appear to be pathetic.

That's exactly what O wants to run. The USC pro style offense. They ran a lot of 2 back and shotgun spread principles.

Signed, guy who clearly has no experience managing people whatsoever.

Identity is hugely important. It’s the first step in being able to clearly and simply explain what’s expected of the players and what’s important for them to focus on. IF we completely lack an identity again this year- which there’s no evidence of yet- our offense is going to turn into a clusterfrick as soon as we face a good opponent, and people like you are going to start pushing the ole “E’s offense isn’t the problem, the execution is the problem” narrative yet again.

It's the first day of spring practice. They can't install the entire new offense in during the first day.
