That was new Mexico state. New Mexico Lobos are who we played, which is a MUch better football team than NMST historically.

Eh close enough, however this "historically" better would be slim

New Mexico is 4-8-1 all time in Bowl games with 4 conference titles and an all-time .441 win percentage.

New Mexico State is 3-0-1 all time in Bowl games with 4 conference titles and an all-time .406 win percentage.

Seems they are equally bad to me but the biggest advantage is Lobos are 72-33-5 vs the Aggies

Those 2 pissed away more Natty's than you can count. We won those titles in spite of those clowns, certainly not because of them. It illustrates that LSU is the best job in the country. Everywhere else you need someone competent to go all the way.
