Since this story is on Tiger Droppings only, I asked a Baton Rouge Advocate reporter why they have not reported it.
Thank you!!

You want The Advocate to report on every HR issue?

Halliburton and Bold are not coaches. They are support staff. Do we really want to know every time the custodial supervisor position comes open?
These guys were long term athletic department employees with "assistant director of athletics" titles. They were both placed on leave on the same day which indicates the reasons are linked. This is also happening at the same time as the WW and OLOL scandals. This situation smells and should be investigated. Writing this off as just another HR issue is naive at best.

This is a message board not a literary site.

Listen frick heads.
You guys, most of you - not all, complain all the time about reporters using unamed sources and what you preceive to be “fake news.” If the advocate reported something from a message board and claimed it to be fact and it turned out to be wrong, does that help or hurt the advocates credibility?
Reporters are generally aware of things that are happening, at least good ones, now most reporters are probably aware of this, but can’t run it because the newspaper has a policy against using unverified sources or require people to go on record to prevent the backlash on using unverified sources and to protect themselves in case in anyway the information they received might be incorrect.
And it can be hard for reporters to get people on record or get verified information if they’re being locked out. Just understand you can’t have it both ways - you either want reckless reporting which can be completely wrong and deemed “fake news” or let people do their jobs and follow proper procedure so they can report undeniable truths.

Are you saying LSU has more employees than students? WTF? Want to know where budget issues come from?

Can someone give a back story of what Bold and Haliburton did or accused of doing to get fired?

Not sure they have been fired, the last thing I read was a suspension. I am hopeful we will know something about this soon (either from the Advocate or someone on TD).

On top of that, LSU Athletics is self supporting which means it really shouldn't be part of the public records request even though it is a public university
You’re fricking retarded.
