Why do you insist on singling out JJ?

To be fair, JJ is a senior and a leader on the team. He has higher expectations of his behavior than the others. He's also more important right now to the team than the other three. If JJ had not been involved, this would be much less of a story.

regardless they should have backed down and not let things escalate. even if Lowrey rolled down the window and yelled "hey you **** quick blocking the exit!" they shouldn't have let it get to a fight. ever. especially not this close to kickoff and double especially with the starting QB.

That's what they're going to use in the case. Btw, the initial story on here by Andrew's friends was that he was just passing by and tried to help an innocent stranger. Turns out that all 4 of them were there together to supposedly pick up a friend. The witness's stories aren't adding up with what the "victims" are saying as some are saying that the marine punched Wing in the bar. That's why they all got thrown out.

If Jarrett Lee was in the fight, rather than JJ, would you even be in this thread?

I think LM is already pissed off at JJ for the incident earlier this summer with egoF and SamM.

So this should be interesting.

JJ needs to get the chair for this. No excuse going Jackie Chan on a purple heart Marine. The poor sweet ex con, I mean heroic brave soldier, was just hanging outside the bar for 3 hours waiting to pick up his friends.

I'm sure they were provoked...but what concerns me is that all of "victims" are pressing charges. To me, that tells me that they don't feel like they did anything to warrant the arse-beating that they got. If they were shouting the N-word at these guys, I can't see how they would want that to come out to the public...and they know it's going to.

So, they're either sure they didn't cross that line or they're so delusional that they think you can call a huge crowd of fired up football players the N-word and expect them to let you pass.

I think it's plausible that the guys in the truck were perhaps being douches and honking a horn to get people to move and perhaps they were already fired up from what went on inside the bar. Being a douche does not warrant a beatdown from football players who run across that stuff all the time and are well coached on how to handle those situations.

Speculation is fun.

1/2 of me agrees with you and the other 1/2 says "its just a bar fight between college kids". I've been in my fair share of bar fights and 90% of the time the cops just broke it up when they arrived. Thats mostly why i'm on the players side. If they weren't LSU players this wouldn't be an issue.

Plus....i'm a huuuuuuggee homer

I agree that the truth lies somewhere in the middle. I don't believe the fight broke out over just honking the horn at the players. But Jefferson was not acting like a team leader, and for that he needs to sit. What was the other incident with JJ, Ego, and Sam M?
