Dorsey had the better career, but ‘03 Lavalais was better than Dorsey’s best year. He had 7 sacks, 16 TFL, 23 pressures, 6 pass breakups and an INT, while ‘07 Dorsey had 7 sacks, 12.5 TFL, 4 pressures and 4 pass breakups. He would have terrorized QBs from the end position and made the whole line more productive. Dorsey is a great choice too, but we needed more penetration this year and Lavalais was the best I can remember at it, while being big and strong enough to hold up against the run.
