I know I should be excited about beating the Gators in BB (and I am) but I just read a thread about our DBS and this jumped out at me.

I know we have had some great Ds but with both of these guys coming back and Adams ready to really blow up - come on man !

Just one more sunshine pump from Cliff !

I don't know if I'm the only one, but Adams reminds me a lot of TM7. I feel like he could provide the swagger we really haven't had since 2011. I might be the only on, but I feel like he'll have a breakout season

I don't think so

I think he stays at safety.

Tolliver is the real deal.

Toliver is nasty. Saw him in person and the guy is physical and quick like a cat.

If we can get a pass rush this D will be phenomenal.

If Mills is best option at CB someone will have to take that from him like Tolliver or Jackson or Paris

Adams will be at one S spot and you could use someone like Tolliver at the spot Adams played last year until he gets more experience

Thomas will still be that situational guy

Jefferson will be the 3rd safety and will play a lot. Cutrer is likely to contribute at corner as he is more developed and more experienced than the freshmen.

No way, Jose. They currently have more depth at safety (Voorhies, Battle, Thompson, Jefferson, Adams, and possibly Gage) than corner and I think Ricky Jefferson can easily slide into that safety spot while Mills moves back over to corner.

They will keep Dwayne Thomas at nickelback, and there is no way that they will expect either a relatively inexperienced Ed Paris or a true freshman to hold down that other cornerback spot (especially when two of our first three games are against SEC opponents with talented receivers).

CB White
S Adams
S Jefferson
CB Mills
Nickel Thomas
Dime Paris/Tolliver/Jackson/Lewis
