Last 3 games:

Arkansas 515 yds 10 pts
Ole piss 464 yds 27 pts
La tech 615 yds 57 pts

That's 1,594 yards and 94 pts.
For an average of 530 yds/gm
And 31 pts/game.

Granted they give up lots of yards. However, we are abysmal in side the 20

They will be up for LSU. We will have to continue to improve. I like our chances, but we will have to come to play, and not give them easy points, to get their crowd going.....

we can move with the best of them in between the 20's, but need to convert redzone possessions into TD's badly.

The edges of that D are soft. Those swing passes we ran Saturday, along with a solid sweep/option attack by Ford should get yards. Then a shot to the mouth with Hill/Ware when they sell out to the outside. We match up well with their D.

We have to make Menziel (sp?) beat us with his arm. He can really create with his feet. We have to do a good job containing him much like Florida did in the second half. Hopefully the coaches are watching a lot of that tape. Makes me mad that these clowns are coming in with their bitch 12 conference offense and breaking SEC records. Let's see that happen against big time defenses, not LA Tech and the pigs

they have a pretty respectable defense. enough to make the game closer then most want to think it will be. it may be enough if we can't contain JM any better then we've contained running qbs in the past.

We should rack up huge amounts of real estate getting to the red zone for field goals.

Yeah, yards don't win football games. Points do.

Scoring Defense:

LSU #8

A&M #36

So yes, respectable. Keep in mind that LA Tech was playing against a defense that was missing 3 players in the secondary and 1 at LB. And that 7 of those points came off of a pick-six.

Do I even have to mention that LA Tech has the best scoring offense in the nation right now and will probably not lose another game this season? No excuses for 50 points, though - our defense definitely had a weak game.

La tech hung 57 on them

Pardon me if I think their defense isn't that great right now
