So, we want more confidence and less stress when we are on the football field. When everyone is on the same page and you're not thinking as much, then you can play fast, you can let your athleticism show because when you prepare and have focus that breeds confidence.“

From the sound and look of it, the defense was playing peewee schemes.

I hope it all works out for DCDJ.

I'm not saying anything until after the UCLA game.

I like his statement referring to simplifying things so they can just play football and not think so much, but talk's cheap. Put up or shut up.......

If CPP gets credit for a championship in the 2000’s, why not CBP?

Pellini was undermined, unbeknownst to many, and the central problem remains ensconced, croaking!

The AD is not fooled however and it will come out in the WASH!!

Everybody looks good in the spring. Orgeron said the defense last year looked better than at any point in 2019. Then the games started. Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. Let’s wait until the games start to proclaim whether this guy knows what he’s doing and whether this defense is ready.

True

If it works out it won’t be because of Orgeron!!

Yeah! Orgeron only gets blame if it doesn't work.
Someone else gets credit if we are successful.
Pellini- Orgeron hire
Brady-Ugh, ugh he got lucky.
Four potential starting QBs, Ugh, Impossible

I still can’t believe how wrong I was about Pelini...but I guess O was wrong also. I’m glad he took action quickly..not many coaches do.

It won’t be because O hired good coaches that run a successful scheme? Weird logic

A Pelini apologist? You're a rare species. So why is it that nobody else will touch him with a 10 foot pole for any coaching job at any level?

I was underwhelmed at the time but didn't expect an out and out disaster. The prevalence of high-octane offenses had me concerned but I still expected a hyper-aggressive D that would make big plays and give up big plays but we only got half of that.

Another April, another bigmouth.

Let's wait until September before we make any judgements. I hope he's right, but the best LSU DC I've ever seen would have never made these statements. He wouldn't have said much at all, because he was spending more time studying and doing than talking.

..and this goes for the entire new staff. Talk talk talk. We just went .500. Put up first then talk. Right now isn't the time.
