Also, if you're ever in Fairmont, you should try out Muriale's for some good Italian. I ate there every Sunday when I lived there years ago.

I cant lie, it can be a pretty bad place for visiting fans...Ive seen a lot more good than bad, but its the bad that sticks out...but i honestly think the behavior will be pretty good because word has gotten around to lots and lots of people about how good LSU fans were to us Mountaineers that traveled down in September...Those of us who made the trip have been VERY vocal about how good LSU fans were and are trying to make sure the favor is returned...

I spoke to an elderly Syracuse fan AFTER they beat us at home this past season, and he said he's been coming to Morgantown for Cuse football and bball games for 20 years, and has a great time every trip...the hospitality us fans showed the UConn team and fans 2 years ago made Randy Edsall tear up...literally...

Wow thanks for putting all that together. Whats the buzz like up there about having LSU coming in? Hopefully we bring a big crowd.

This game will probably be the most pumped up I have seen the fans since 2003 when be beat Virginia Tech who was #3 at the time. I'm still relatively young and that's the loudest game I can remember at Mountaineer Field.

It should be a great game. People outside of the state think that we are going to have a down year, but all signs point to the team being very good this year with the hiring of Dana Holgorsen of Oklahoma State (#3 ranked offense last year). This was Coach Holgorsen's only year at OSU with a team that returned 4 starters on offense. The defense is reloading and should be ready to go.

The PRT began operation in 1973, with U.S. President Richard Nixon's daughter, Tricia, aboard one of five prototype cars for a demonstration ride.

That's funny, because then Vice President Richard Nixon took the first ride on the Monorail in Disneyland.

If you are flying up the day of the game, then yes, flying into Pittsburgh and driving would be the best route. I-79 goes straight from Pittsburgh to Morgantown is about a 75 mile drive.

Personally I have only ever seen rare occurences of fans being treated badly at Mountaineer Field and they were back when we used to play Virginia Tech. The only other fanbases I have seen hardcore heckled are Marshall and Pittsburgh (but don't they deserve it? )

Odd. I watched that whole video and other than Pat White didn't see a single minority. What gives West Virginia?

The state is 96% White, 3.5% Black, 0.6% American Indian, and 0.66% Asian. Most minorities live in the highly concentrated population areas like Morgantown, Charleston, and Huntington.

Gotta tell you, I was expecting a joke response but I am pleasantly surprised by your straightforward and factual answer

Thanks! I try to to represent the state well. There are so many misconceptions out there and it gives us a bad reputation. Here's to hoping we change some minds this September. Morgantown is a great city!
