A change of pace post A and M. Looks like Freeze to Tennessee. A strong Tennessee takes recruits from Bama and gives them a tough game in late October before our game. 01,03,07, and even 11 had tough Tennessee teams. If he lands at Tennessee look for a Tiger win in Tuscaooosa in 2019. I will bump this is 48 weeks one way or the other.

Bama always has a bye before our game...So, doesn't make much of a difference if the game is actually a good or not

You are absolutely correct that LSU benefits from a strong UT. They impact both Bama and UF every year and they play both teams prior to LSU playing them.

LSU should strongly support Ut making a comeback to relevance to the SEC.

Doesn't matter. Bama will be switching cross division rivals soon.

The day Tennessee becomes relavent again, Alabama will direct the SEC to go to changing crossing division games to two moving games vs. 1+1

Correct.

There is a reason that we tend to end up in Atlanta together.

I can remember Bill King on WLAC talking about UT recruiting, and how heavily UT relied on AL, MS, GA, and NC for players.

Saban, Swinney, and now Smart, have cut that pipeline to UT.

I agree. TENN brings in top talent -- but has NOT coached them to a high level. Freeze (as long as he hires a stud DC) will get UT talent to a level BETTER than he had at OLE MISS.
Year after year, UT gets better talent than OM. Freeze will help us give Saban fits!

It does indeed, if UT is stronger and exerts injuries / tough play that game, forcing Bama to allow more rest and less practice for key Bama players - in the LSU-game plan.

Those 2 programs broke Tennessee.

The Vols had huge lead in the series, but has won just 7 times against the Gators since 1976.
Bama has beaten the Vols 12 times in a row, but Tennessee had won 10 of the previous 12.

Now they have to worry about Vanderbilt and Mizzou

Who didn’t know this?

Too bad Tennessee has been sucking for so long.

I do appreciate your insight.
