He predicts enough things that he is bound to get some of them right......."like a blind hog rooting for an acorn".

Ya know as much as I dislike what he says I can't help but feel sorry for him. I really think the man's mind is gone.

What's really scary is that a little over 30 years ago, much of Tiger Nation wanted him to be the coach at LSU.

Holtz also said May played for the Pitt Pirates and he would have liked a chance to play for the national championship.

They aren't having them this year. Something about cleaning the floors afterward was to time consuming.

That, and most ADs probably sent him a cease and desist order preventing him from pepping up their team.

Lou Holtz pep talk = one in the loss column

Don't hate on the pep talks - its clearly why the Pitt Panthers won last year and sent LSU to the MNC!

I will agree that he isn't LSU's biggest fan but some of his saying crack me up.
when asked last night what he would say to Notre Dame in a pep talk he said," when you are in a hole, quit digging"
and when asked about some teams having great athletes versus some teams that don't he said," I'd rather have a slow guy going the right way than a fast guy going the wrong way"

GREATEST FIGURES......

The man has cheated every place he has coached and every school has ended up on probation. ND, ARKY, South Carolina, Minnesota. Total homer but more of a spittin COCK with a lisp.

I knew that he had created some problems for the schools that he coached, but I didn't realize it was this bad. It doesn't say much for ESPN's judgement of character. Way to set an example.
