Did the Buckeyes change the combination to their locker room again?

Why would they change the combination? The loss in N.O. was nothing like the one in AZ, so don't even try and say it was. We were a blocked Punt away from being 1 TD down halfway through the 3rd quarter (and that guy just totally screwed that up and whiffed....fing moron). That is nothing like being destroyed and completing 4 of 13 passes. Yes we only passed the ball 13 times total and we were down multiple scores from the 2nd quarter on.

Flame out

Good question. I know Tressel is pretty superstitious so my guess is no. He did it last year to mimic Woody Hayes' tactic after losing to Mich 24-12 in '69...he had the score put on the rug at the entrance of the locker room. OSU won the next year 20-9 in Columbus.

You were also an INT deep in our own territory and a garbage TD away from losing 38-10. The question is still valid, is your team still focusing on Uf or have yall moved on to LSU now?

So me saying that a punt block that obsolutely should have been made (don't believe me take a look at the replay, it's pathetic) is the same as an interception and a garbage time TD?

For the record there was a garbage time TD by both teams.

I think Tressel is totally by both of them and is focused in on 2008. Can't do anything about the past season now

I agree to an extent, but I was at the game and LSU thoroughly beat us. Mistakes and missed opportunities are a part of football, and the better teams take advantage of them. LSU reminded me of OSU's team in 2002...lots of experience and very resilient.

Also, it was a missed blocked punt, not a FG.

I didn't know there was a historical precedence for it.

Your right, Florida had the game in hand midway through the 2nd quarter. For a while, it looked like LSU would do the same thing, but OSU had a little life in the 3rd. All those personal fouls killed your team. I've never seen so many in a game.

The only touchdown that I count as garabge was the last one. Other then that, i dont think Ohio have any sort of beef with LSU and to say that we do is just stupid. OUr beef is with USC, Ohio was a classy team. They trash talked no more then when we play any other SEC teams and afterward let it go.

Ohio has no reason no how to be focus on LSU, UF sure but LSU? Nah. I saw how they played, they made me nervous every snap, it wasn't until the final touchdown that I breath a sigh of relief.

Gosh, you mean if you blocked the punt and capitalized, you would have been within 7? Wow, now that is the definition of a competitive match LOL.

And instead it killed momentum and you had the ball inside our territory and went down and scored, making it a 21 pt lead, yeah, that was kind of a big deal.

The attitudes are really different this year...

Last year it was all about pissed off revenge and using that for motivation.

This year its all about knowing how good we are and being confident about what is coming.

The confidence is really high on this years team where last year they were pissed but unsure of themselves.

I think we're too busy being focused on Youngstown St. to be worried about the successes and downfalls of the past two years.

Momentum... what from one defensive stand (ofcourse given we scored 31 straight, I am sure that would have flipped the game. ).

It is one thing to what if when you are in striking distance... quite another to what if a what if in hope that a what if happens to get you within 7.

Hartline sure seemed pretty confident going into the BCS game... did wonders.

Actually we have agreement... coming into last year they were mad and not sure if they could handle a real team... now they know with absolute confidence that they cant. Common ground baby

Just watched a documentary on the OSU / Michigan rivalry on HBO. Woody Hayes was one disturbed individual.

Or more like one Wells run away from being out of hand for OSU from the start but man, anyone outside of OSU who watched that game saw it was LSU had the game in hand throughout most of the game. We could have hung more.

btw, blocking punts and FG's are just as much a part of the game as deep passes...had it been Beamer credit would've gone to the hd. coach.
