Dukke, bet you were one of those fans who scoffed when Jeaux and Burrow were predicting 50-60 points a game for 2019.

Joe’s Prophesy Came True

“I think we’re going to score a lot of points, and I don’t think a lot of people are used to LSU scoring 40, 50, 60 points a game,”

Joe Burrow wasn't a Heisman candidate last summer either. Hell, he was barely projected to be drafted in the NFL.

Durkey, everyone’s entitled to their opinion. Joe makes you Fap-Happy. Everyone gets it.

Joe WAS better and earned the job by a razor thin margin that was clearly covered by COACH O.

Joe gave us two years (Year 1 & 2 with Steve Ensminger as OC) and:

• 25-3 Record (.892 Winning %)
• One second place SEC West Finish
• One SEC West Title
• One Playoff Win
• One National Title
• 621 of 906 (68.5%), 8565 yds passing
• 76 TDs : 11 Ints (6.9 ratio) w/ 173.2 QBR
• Add the rushing stats as you like

THESE ARE MEASUREABLES

In years 3 & 4 with Steve Ensminger as OC, I wholeheartedly believe Myles Brennan will surpass many of Joe’s career marks bulleted above (short season considered, numbers reduced and percentages applied):

• similar or better Winning %
• two SEC West titles
• one or two SEC titles
• one National Title (at least)
• Completion % higher than 70%
• 10,000 yards passing (LSU Record)
• 100+ TDs with 10+ Ints (10:1 ratio)
• QB rating above 190
• Quality rushing stats

I STAND LIKE A ROCK — MYLES BRENNAN IS A ONCE IN A GENERATION QB TALENT WHO WILL LEAD LSU TO CHAMPIONSHIPS

This is def a possibility

This is where I lost you. There is no way in hell he averages over 5000 yards passing and 50 touchdowns in two season. None. Sorry but no. If he hits those marks in year one he gone. Sorry Brennan's dad but it ain't happening.

Love the enthusiasm.

But....

Ban bet?

IF after his career is over he breaks none of those...will you shut the f up? Forever?

I will if he breaks just one.

Lol — Good one! I ain’t his daddy but I am a big fan watching him win MS State 4-A Titles since 2014. I’m expecting a short season of 10-12 games in 2020 with 15 games in 2021.

That’s 4,000 - 5,000+ yards in Year 1.
That’s much more in Year 2. Just Watch!

We’re gonna stomp the SEC in 2020 with
Myles kept clean behind this line:

RT — Austin Deculus
RG — Chasen Hines
C — Liam Shanahan
LG — Ed Ingram
LT — Dare Rosenthal

We all know the badass depth (3-Deep) Chart goes three deep in Quality players for Coach Cregg.

When your coach says he has a Vision, mark it well!

As for you Dookkie, I may have some issues
but you’re a crybaby who needs lotsa tissues
Your manlove for Joe is a one way Romance
He’s gone to the NFL stop creamin’ yo’ pants

As for a ban bet with NoGeaux
You’re probably Dokkie, but I still take the bet!
No Geaux, you want a ban bet — It’s on!
• two SEC West titles
• one or two SEC titles
• one National Title (at least)
• Completion % higher than 70%
• 10,000 yards passing (LSU Record)
• 100+ TDs with 10+ Ints (10:1 ratio)
• QB rating above 190
• Quality rushing stats

If Myles fails to achieve any of these 8 bulleted Targets, I disappear. If he achieves any of the 8 targets, you disappear.

If there’s no FB, there is no bet!

When I win, and I will, you can stay! I won’t hold your lack of faith against you.

Wow..... I have zero love affair with Burrow. But until Myles shows me what he can do for a WHOLE game my mind is not made up...... that means making every play and making crucial choices at the right time. I really hope he can do this but as of now he has shown me nothing at the college level for me to agree with your crazy stats.

Still watching SSC? Hopefully my boy can take some snaps under center in the next few years. He’s going into 8th, and I sure hope they play ball this fall. He’ll play wherever they put him. Hopefully he can get most of the kicking duties early, guess it just depends. He was dead set on being a kicker, and he’s exceptional at it, until he played QB last year. Now it’s all about spinning it the other way. I hear the varsity is going to be a running team this year.

Alabama & GA offer schollies to 8th grade QBs — Truth Believe it or not!

Get him enrolled in the LSU camps yesterday

Get him in the Manning Passing Academy for 8th - 12th graders at Nichols State

If he even sniffs 25 TDs midway thru his Soph YR like Myles did, I’ll go see him.

Get him in Camps (there is a variety of them) next summer as Covid ruined everything this summer

Realist Expectations: If he’s anywhere near 6’ in the 8th grade and anywhere near 170 he’s a prime candidate for QB. Lotsa work to get his speed down (special shoes)

I’ll be listening for another St Stan SupaStar QB — Good Luck with his development

Josh Pate talks about Orgeron getting too little respect — Again

Here’s one that sees LSU competing for Playoffs every year

Respectfully, I have to disagree with your post.

Put simply, he's going to be a redshirt junior next season. He'll never touch the career records, because if he gets anywhere near Burrow's season records, he's gone in a heartbeat.

One year really, because if he has any type of decent season in 2020, he's going to the NFL. And if he has a bad year, then he's not going to break any records in his second year.

What if he has something in between - like say...the same as Burrow had in 2018?

He would have if Elmer Fudd wasn’t the coach

No decent coach would have played Russell Shepherd at QB. He just wasn't a QB. He had an arm like Peter Parrish.
