It's the SEC...EVERY game is pivotal and monumental. Our fans seem to have forgotten that.

Oh man, that was wonderful.

We ARE gonna destroy Auburn on Saturday and it is going to be FUN!

Then, as has happened so many times before, LSU will march into Tuscaloosa and this time, we get to demolish Alabama's dream season. Send them scurrying back to their locker room in search of an ever-loving drawing board to try and come up with a desperation plan for the last three weeks of the season, inventing new goals and trying fiendishly to manufacture something - anything - left to play for.

I can't wait.

Auburn isn't a bad team by any stretch of the imagination, but they aren't a great team either.

Auburn is a 7-5/6-6 team this year. Call them whatever you want to, but LSU handles Auburn with relative ease Saturday, ie. it may be semi-close on the scoreboard, but the game is never in doubt.

Rather than writing an entirely new post reiterating what I said earlier in the week, I just decided to bump this one to remind people that the game this weekend in Tiger Stadium is vitally important.

The crowd needs to be a factor.

Let's get fired up, Tiger fans, We should direct our vitriol at Auburn, not each other.

Rally the troops, bring down the fake tiger, war eagle or what ever pet they want to bring with them.

Tomorrow we dine in the blood of falling birds and weak jungle tigers. They walk in the Valley of Death and decay in the purple and gold night.

I call upon the armies of the south endzone, the student section, the bowl, and the soaring upper decks. Tiger Stadium shall spark and crackle again. We must support our purple and gold clad warriors even if the offense struggles in the opening stanzas of the game. We must disrupt the Auburn offense. We must will LSU to victory with noise and unwavering hope.
He's right.
