A New Hope?

I recommend that TD.com dedicate a new, separate board which would be restricted for only the elite Rant members whom have already forgotten more than the rest of us will ever learn about LSU football (and all sports).

This would accomplish many things: These self-proclaimed experts would be free to have their high-brow discussions and exchanges without having to bother with the posts from all the inferior members. They would never have to converse with sub-Ranters (best known as "idiots," "morons," and being "delusional," (among others).

To the unwashed masses that don't have the divine knowledge which the Mega-Ranters have possessed for centuries, the rest of TD.com's members would be free to discuss (and debate)legit threads and posts, without the same old tired and annoying insults and base-clogging terms such as "FACT," "Book It," and others, without having to endure the side-effects that inevitably accompany the rants from those who are all-knowing and all-seeing.

Of course, TD.com is not mine to tinker with; I know others are responsible for creating, maintaining and overseeing this great site, and I'm certainly in no position to lobby for any changes just because I like them.

I'm interested to see how many members would support the idea of having a "Mega-Tiger Rant," or whatever you want to call it. Please reply w/a simple "yea" or "nay," and if you like it, feel free to explain why you do.

I realize that those Ranters who hate just about everything will respond with flames, but in doing so they are only wasting time they can't ever get back. There's really nothing they can do that will even sting, much less insult me. You can only succeed if I let you, and trust me, I won't.
