I think Chris Moock was the starting 3B in ‘91 and maybe ‘92.
ETA: This is a really nice job on these lists! Really brings back some good memories of watching some great baseball at The Box!
Thank You Good Sir!

Yes, thanks(updated). So, I was able to find and article that he certainly was....he was listed as on Outfielder on the old rosters. He turned two with Andy Sheets in the CWS and I learned that he was a placeholder for the football team during the Earthquake game. Thanks again....data on 90-96 is hard to piece together.

Good stuff. I consider myself somewhat of a historian of lsu baseball back to about 1994, and for the life of me, the name derek hebert is a complete blank for me. I have no memory of him.
Also, surprised by some of the positions listed. I didnt think justin bowles was a shortstop here. I thought he was an OF/1B.
Also thought naccarata was at 3rd all the time

Juan Telechea sure placed a hard tag. You could hear the pop.
He certainly wasn’t like ‘happy feet’.

Glad to hear it. I’ll try to finish it up tomorrow. I found it fun to go over names that come and gone but make up the glorious history of LSU baseball, something that I love.
Josh/Project, I felt the same when when I was typing Derek Hebert.

I remember when Broussard was the leading hitter on the 2018 team until his hand got crushed after hit by a pitch by Vanderbilt pitcher. Injured so badly that plates, pins, and screws were necessary. Only stayed out for a couple weeks and returned way too soon because he was needed at second base.
My understanding is he played that way for the rest of the 2018 and the 2019 season and didn’t have metal removed from hand until after his senior season. Kid was unable to grip the bat strongly but still made SEC 2019 Tournament team. You wonder what could have been with him if not for the injury. Heart of a Tiger!

Pretty sure Coomes had two huge errors at first that cost us the natty vs. Florida.

Drop to 89 and include Bianco - he deserves to make the list
90 Osik was an Iron Man and literally played everywhere. He split catching time with Gary Hymel, Kyle Mall and Schneider (who ended up transferring to Tulane)
