That Baylor guy might’ve worked out for us. The D would be good, he wouldn’t hire his buddy for OC, and if it didn’t work out we could cut bait relatively cheap. Oh well.

Lane is a great offensive mind, but he takes stupid risks and his defenses suck.
Even at USC in a weak conference, he didn't do anything special and they started sucking bad before he was fired. I believe they gave up a program record 62 points AZ State when he was fired.
