I admittedly have been one of Miles' biggest supporters and thought the way the end of last season played out was distasteful and thought Miles had earned a chance to have another season to address the deficiencies in his team.
Thanks for another shitty season. Any more favors you want to do for the school you supposedly support?

Not trying to be an a-hole here, but damn you. People like you, who cheered on Miles as he was carried off the field after beating A&M, are partly responsible for this wasted season. You are enablers.
I was for firing Miles last year. This board and fan negativity in general seems super strong right after a loss, but fades over time and the posimiles posters come back out day by sunshiney day.
How long will this last? Will it stick this time? What will it take to fire him? Another bad loss to an unranked opponent? Will it have to be either a losing season or when Miles' contract runs out (2019?!)?

Anybody who blames the fans for LSU'S decision to retain Miles after last yeas is either intellectually dishonest or intellectually retarded. Since when do Alleva or Alexander give a good Goddamn about what the fans think? And until the fans do something to remind Alleva who it is that really pays his salary, that's not going to change. So write letters and emails, post on media like this. But don't give them the phony "We were just responding to the fans" excuse.

Then yesterday happened, and everything was even worse. Worse lack of preparation, offensive progress, any semblance of a passing game or an offensive strategy, special teams failure after failure, poor decisionmaking, and to cap it all off, an embarrassing total lack of discipline with Boutte's hit. Which took me back to Vadal Alexander's idiot shove in 2014. But I digress.
What he did yesterday was to laugh in the face of people like you and tell everyone else to frick off.
What Miles did, or rather didn't do, this offseason was pure arrogant a-hole.
We've been telling you that's who he is. Now. Is sinking in.
The man is a prick

I had a dream last night that Rahim Alem, Tremaine Johnson, Vidal Alexander, and Boutee were all in a cage and throwing things at each other and kicking balls straight up in the air and just wrecking shite up. And there were baboons watching them from outside of the cage and throwing yellow flags at them and cursing. And then, the Marshall Tucker Band showed up naked and played, "Can't You See?" and Les Miles was drinking a pina colada with James Caan by the PMAC and they nodded their heads to the rhythm.

Sure, your opinion and mine as fans does not amount to jackshit. The fanbase as a WHOLE does matter however. If the fanbase is united in wanting Miles gone and is vocal enough about it, the admins will be responsive.
Last year it seemed like we were almost there, and then there was a backlash of posimiles fan and media support.

Congrats, it's because of people like yourself that Miles was kept for another year to waste the most talented team we have had since 05
Dude, let Miles have a few fans, he at least deserves that. It is not people like the OP that had Miles keep his job. You are clueless to think that. Not even the players carrying him off the field had anything to do with it- OK maybe 1% of the optics pro Miles camp.
The reason was political optics, State of La with budget deficits, then the large buy-out for LM contract plus paying $5M year for a replacement etc... However the booster's supposedly had that covered but F King Alexander is the reason- to keep LSU's image
So quit blaming LM fans. They are coming around especially after this game

Looking forward to improving the golf game on nice Fall Saturdays instead of blowing the whole day on football and being disappointed over and over again. I'm just sick of it and done. Go Tigers.
My husband said yesterday was his last game. He said he has better things to do than torment himself with hope.

My theory is that Les is pissed off he didn't get fired last year.
If he had gotten fired he be 12 millions bucks richer and not having to work anymore.
He could be sitting in a lake house somewhere enjoying the view knocking back a beer.
Thus he has to make sure he gets fired this year, yesterday was a great first step.

I actually gave up on Miles last year. I wanted him gone (despite my respect for him), but we got the circus instead. We can't wait for Miles to "do the right thing". He won't. He blames everything/everyone else.
Like everyone else I wanted Herman or Jimbo but after last years complete circus I think there is little chance either will come here. We can't wait till end of season. We need to be looking right now. Fire Miles publicly after Saban destroys him again, but Get the feelers out now. Make the best 2 turn us down (unofficially, through back channels) then settle for someone like Petrino quickly.
Our best chance to avoid the 1990's, otherwise thats where we are headed.

Les is a total stubborn, arrogant douchebag. He has just shown the fan base that it is he, not they, who run this team. He has basically told the LSU nation to f... off. Les is showing that he is in control and it will be done his way. He does not care about the fans or the program, he only cares about his own inflated ego.

I have supported him for years but i wanted him gone last year as we are getting further and further behind bama. I didn't like the way it was handled but jimbo should've been our coach now. It should have ended with Miles being carried off the field as a respectful end to his successful career and to him as a great person.
After the great hire of Arranda and incredible recruiting season and promises of changes I was hopeful like every true fan that Les "near death" experience made him see the light and we would open up the offense. What other choice did we really have?
No we have a train wreck and the only real question is how bad is it going to be and how much damage is going to be done to the program.
Thanks Alexander. May u rot in hell

Not very lovable here ^^^ and a very calculated "f u" to everyone. Stubborn & arrogant til the death has been becoming the mantra
