I was watching a bunch of clips of guys like Cecil Collings Charlie Alexander, Kevin Faulk ect. I plugged in "Harvey Williams" and this compilation of him and Sammy Martin came up. For those who didn't get to see these two guys play...enjoy! They were so much fun to watch!

same here........in fact, i remember as a kid, going to Staples (the sporting goods store, probably even before there was a office supply store), and i'm pretty sure his mom\family either owned it, ran it, or maybe just worked there......i was 12'ish, just remember the conversation with his mom as i was in there wearing an lsu shirt.

Seems like I heard a story that when he came to an LSU camp one of the coaches asked him which player was his kid.

I was at LSU then and was amazed for his size how good of a player he was. I was the same height and weight and there was no way I was getting on the field with SEC football players.

All facts. Sammy was a New Orleans/Gretna kid. I have heard recently he lived somewhere in mississippi but 100% grew up in Gretna
