agreed

the venom and hatred spewed toward miles and jefferson has been unbelievable and what purpose does it serve?

you don't like miles? how many ways do you need to post this sentiment? it has been ad nauseum for weeks now.

we have all had our say - back our tigers now or GTFO

I think telling other fans that they suck doesn't help either. Negativity against negative people = fail.

Every fanbase would react the same way. Passionate fanbases would react the same way. You gotta love the fact that lsu fans are that passionate about their team. Making a thread everyday doesn't help. How does the negativity help?

A lot of LSU fans really do not realize the impact of the negativity on parents and decision makers for recruits. It is alright to be frustrated at times, but booing players should definitely be a no no. If you survived LSU football in the 90's, you can definitely survive one loss in BCS championship game.

How in the "F" does the negativity help?

Ever heard the old adage, "It is the squeaky wheel that gets the grease"?

The adage conveys the idea that the most noticeable (or loudest) problems are the ones most likely to get attention. Jan. 9th was a problem. A huge problem. Miles' apparent favoritism finally bit him. Not just with the fans and press, but with parents, recruits, and players. It has to be fixed.

But until a new season starts, and Miles shows that the grease has been properly applied to the wheel, expect the squeaking to continue

How does that negativity help you ask? The amount of noise of the wheel, whether from volume or repetitiveness, will only draw attention to the problem. Its the noise that results in a fix. Obviously there wasnt sufficient enough noise (mainly due to fans like you) to force Miles to change his ways.

But make no mistake, Miles allowed the vehicle to end up in the ditch. He was the driver. The noise has been there for 3 years, and Miles chose to ignore it. Hopefully the wreck that was 1/9, and the related recruitment issues should be enough "noise" for Miles to have to fix his driving habits. We have just been the bitching wife sitting in the passenger seat.

But by ignoring the negative, or screaming that you're sick of the squeaking, you are only allowing the problem to get worse.

Your squeaky wheel answer is helping erode the program as much as any coached decision.

And if by remaining silent the problem gets worse it will be dealt with.

You squeaking is only making it worse.

Oh and to the other poster with low post counts.......like i said maybe your an alter.....maybe not......Until we know for sure your gong to have to deal with it.

Im the bitching wife in the passenger seat? How am I causing damage to the wheel?

Its the driver that has allowed the problem to grow, not the one who bitches. Yeah, no one wants to hear the wife bitch once they get to the garage, but by God they werent making it to the garage without the bitching!!

We wrecked on 1/9. We're currently in the process of being towed. We'll see if this car can be fixed.

But dont blame the bitch that wanted it fixed 3 years ago

If they don't like it, make your coach fix it, it's not a message board or fan's fault.

I'm tired of hearing the excuses for Les, any knowledgeable fan knows that what happened on Jan 9th has been going on since Les got here. It's why Jimbo left, it's why the offense became dysfunctional with Crowton after he set LSU records his first year, it's why after Stud took over nothing changed, and it's why we got shutout Jan 9th.

For you few guys that just want to pas their day bashing LSU and its players and coaches, take your "support" to another team's blog.

All this crap is unproductive, not good for the team!
