so is the aggie fan saying in a roundabout way that we have good coaching?

I guess in an Aggie type of logic. Another poster on there said Miles' most impressive win in his coaching career was his win over Stoops' OU team when he coached at Okie Lite...I guess they can't decide if Les is good or bad, but LSU def isn't talented

but it seems like this Aggie thinks that we have to run fake kicks, trick plays and go for it on 4th down because we have inferior players to our opponents.

We have to do these things bc our offense is atrocious due to coaching and/or QB play. Everyone knows that, except this A&M guy I guess.

But their coach told them they are relevant. They just haven't learned anything about real football yet.

Here's an even better quote:

quote:

That's super cool. Texas has averaged a better recruiting class than LSU under Miles. In fact they've pulled in a higher ranked recruiting class every since Miles has been at LSU and their team sucks. You know who else has gotten good recruits in the last couple years? Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame, Michigan and any other team that is a large program. The difference being they don't develop any of that talent. For example, your offense is pathetic. I seriously think maybe one or two offensive lineman are better than ours. No one else on offense would see the field for A&M. Your defense is talented for sure, but we have the best linebacker in the country. Who would be the best player on your team. Easily. Patrick Peterson is good, but his special teams contributions make him regarded higher than he should be. Von Miller is the superior player. Long story short. LSU sucks. They think they are a top 3 program in the nation and they are simply a mediocre team that got lucky hiring an up and coming coach from Michigan State, and have been riding off that success for years.

Yeah, that's why they were drooling over Jarrett Fobbs, who never saw the field at WR for us this year and probably won't next year, either.

they would feel fortunate to beat any team in the country that is over .500 because talent wise, that's about what they are.
Apparently he doesn't know the past 10 years LSU has only finished outside Top 10 recruiting twice ( I think.)

It always makes me laugh when people just assume they can extrapolate what an entire fanbase thinks from isolated information like this.

I mean wow, it's 1 post from a guy who doesn't even have an ag tag.

This one is at least debatable. PP is a hell of a ball player, but so is Von Miller. They don't just hand out the Butkus award to anybody you know.

I'd expect every Aggie to say Von's better and every tiger to say PP.

But neither is an outlandish statement

How did LSU do against teams actually in the top 25? West Virginia, Miss St, Alabama, Auburn, and Arkansas?

- You went 3-2.

- Your QB threw for a grand total of ONE touchdown to compliment his 4 INTs. He averaged 110 yards against those teams.

- The offense scored a total of 9 TDs and a two point conversion. Special teams had a TD and 14 field goals. Your offense scored the exact same as your special teams.

- Your defense allowed 352 yards per game while your offense only managed 290.

- Your defense gave up 178 yards per game on the ground.

Dear sweet baby jesus! I wonder what happens to those stats if you take out Auburn? Id like to see what AU would put up against them. I just have this hunch it might be alittle more than 24 points and a bunch of yards.

Here's a fact... L S U will win halftime. I once spoke to an aggie (Once was enough) and they always boast that they never lose a halftime , as idiotic as that sounds these tunnel heads actually believe it intimidates their opponents to proclaim this.

Anyone else remember the 2 Aggies heading to BR years ago, 80's I think, that stopped on the Basin Bridge to take a leak and thought it was just I-10. One of them jumped over the side and broke both his legs ?

The Frist Responders were still there fishing that moron out of the swamp after the game. The delays on the bridge were backed up to the Mariquin exit.
