Thanks, Dr. Spock. You obviously don't have kids.

I regret I don’t have more downvotes to give you.
None of this happened.

My 8 yr old told another kid on the bus he was arguing with to suck his D. We don’t talk like in front of kids but they can learn it anywhere.
Tiger Stadium imo, would be in my top 5 places for a kid to learn it

You probably keep yours away from New Orleans because there are homosexuals there.
Good luck with all of that.

society has changed considerably in the last thirty years or so. what we considered "vulgar" and inappropriate behavior in public is now commonplace and considered OK. I am not (in this post) condemning or condoning the change.
but I know one thing; IT'S DAMN NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to shelter your children. stay away from the student section and distract the kids when neck is played where they can't hear the words and hope you don't sit near a drunk a-hat that drops the F bomb after every play. there is nothing else you can do. also, over sheltering your kids has a price too.
I say these things as a grandparent; as a parent I was scared to death about exposing my kids to the decadent world we now live in.

I would break them in with a lesser opponent so if they get restless you don't feel obligated or unwilling to leave. Make it a fun day and they'll look forward to future games.

Listen, buddy. Go tell your friend that LSU football games have been pg13 since the 50’s. It’s not going to change because we have vulgar cheer.
Truth be told. If they allowed all the old cheers back, you wouldn’t hear the neck language all the time.

Bring our grand kid with buddies kids 6-7yo’s and they don’t hear a thing. Sit in North end zone even. Change the words to the songs and get them ready prior. I.e., ‘stuck that tiger Dfense’....’take their class,,,,and steal their lunch money’. It’s a blast.

I was raised on an Army post in the 70’s. By the time I was 5, I knew every curse word and how to use it in context, mainly because I was allowed to go to the bars on post with my parents. None of this scarred me in any way, and quite frankly, it was probably better than the alternative of being a sheltered kid.
However, this hypothetical “she” shouldn’t take her kids, because the only people who should attend an LSU game should be people who are passionate, knowledgeable, and who wouldn’t want to miss a second of the game.

It’s never been appropriate to bring younger kids to Tiger Stadium for big games. Save the kiddos for the cupcake games. Even without STTDB, Tiger Stadium is a rowdy, drunken atmosphere during big games. Would they bring their kids to a bar?
