Any areas to not stay in?
Do they sell standing room only tickets? Any other feedback? Thx and Go Tigers!

Old Market area. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and stadium. Downtown area.

Tons of money can be saved by staying in west Omaha and driving 30 minutes to the stadium. Parking is roughly $15-$25 in the blocks around the stadium, so it’s not terrible. I’m staying at a Hampton Inn 30 minutes west of the stadium and my hotel has been full of CWS fans the entire week.

We did this last time in Omaha, and it wasn't bad. Although our entire group agreed it would be better to stay in the downtown area close to the stadium and bars.

Well of course staying in downtown within walking distance would be ideal, but the price of hotels in downtown during the CWS is unreal. I’d rather stay in west Omaha and just drive in. I’ve spent probably $3,000 so far between tickets and hotels but after buying finals tix for my family, I’m expecting my total cost to be nearly $5,000 or $6,000. Which is downright stupid for this event but oh well, I’m going to make more.

Jumped on last night and Booked at a Holiday Inn Express in west Omaha which shockingly had Chase IHG award nights available so we got us a free hotel for the weekend. Will already have a rental car so Figured the 25min drive in to park Saturday morning wouldn’t be too bad

If you're gonna rent a car when you get there, just fly in to KC and save a couple hundred bucks a ticket on airfare and make the 2 hr. drive to Omaha.

We just booked a hotel here. We have never been but wanted to go for the weekend even if we might not be able to get tickets. Have you stayed here before? Is parking by the stadium an issue? Is it an OK area? We will have our kids with us. Now trying not to stress about not having tickets. Hopefully we can find some for a good price but we will be ok watching it from a restaurant just to soak in the atmosphere.

I was able to get SRO Tix the day of game 1 for $75 each. Had to wait in line for about 90 minutes for the window to open. Not sure if finals will be the same or not.

Every Lyft I took all weekend in town was less than $5, true story.

10 mins from Stadium across the river in Iowa with casinos sounds better

If you fly into KC, they have the WWI museum that is a great experience.
