what irritates me a bit is the USC folks pattin' their D on the back for only losing by 7 points........that game was easily a 14 point win. Les just showed class and took the knee.

When I heard the techno music, I couldn't help but think of lowrider trucks, Jengo jeans, caeser style haircuts, x pills, big silver chains around the neck, and the 90's.

We're in agreement that LSU is 5-1 and in the thick of things. I don't agree w/ your other observations. Did LSU win last night??

I most certainly agree that you are not going to EVER beat Hey Baby and the Tiger Band..DAH, DAH DAH DAH! (ashamedly, i do not know what that song is called, although i know every note).

It's called Pre-Game and Touchdown.

"Hold that Ti-Ger" are the actual words taken from the original "Tiger Rag" lyrics that comprise those infamous four notes.....

Tiger Stadium could use some of that. From what i gathered, it's about the only thing they've got there that we might want.

Man that is a epic fail sorry- CFB is about the energy from the school band.

If there is ONE thing possibly evident from the stands that may have been less so on Television, it is the extreme level of general confusion and disorganization on the field shown by LSU. I understand there will be check-offs. I understand the guys need to make adjustments. I understand that football is a complex game

Are you sure you understand? All I heard last night was "how well the offense was shuttled in and out" by Blackledge. He was a college QB at one time and a very good analyst so Im going with him on that one.

I missed that one, link?

What's with the fricking rooster popping out of that cheezy smoke shite thing before the game? That's unquestionably the lamest shite I have ever seen at any sporting event. No way they should allow something that moronic at an SEC football game, although it was damned good for a laugh. I was howlin'.

Yep. The Seminoles are so confused on offense that they're averaging
37 points per game.
That Fisher guy doesn't have a clue.

The thought of this makes me sick. I've been to a Redskins game, where the canned shite drowned out the real band. It was awful. I can imagine plenty of season ticket holders leaving if that ever happened. It shows that the school can no longer recruit a band--how long until they can't recruit athletes, as well.

Dear Clueless from Columbia

I don't know if you could tell from your TV that Crowton confused Ohio St. and our receivers ran great routes at the beginning of 2008.

What changed? I don't know if you can tell from your TV that we have two inexperienced QBs trying to run our offense--try tunning in next year on you TV!

I thought WB was a VERY nice venue. The Cock crowd was loud but faded as the game got tight. We went to the Ale house and it was pretty cool. All the fans were nice to us but they didn't expect to win. I thought it was a little lame that they left when we got the ball back with 4 mins left. a W is a W.

Wow. you just described tiger stadium fans. They always leave early if they think that the game is close to being decided. 4 minutes left is quite late. TS would have been cleared out after the last score. TS noise would fade too just like it did at WB stadium when the other team began to flex its muscles.

I you want to hear canned music, wear an ipod. What do you want next, a smoke cloud for the team to run through? That kind of crap reminds me of the Kingfish.

Our cheer is "GEAUX TIGERS", not "FAUX TIGERS".

The only piped in music from the PA system is 2001. It is played during the opening when the team runs out and between the third and fourth quarter.

The techno music is played to the student section by the "mic man" during short little breaks and some of the commercial breaks. He has a couple of speakers down on field level in front of the student section. Otherwise, our band plays during the rest of the time. One quirk of the placement of the USC band and stadium design is that if you are in East Upper (501-509), you cannot hear the band.

I agree with the folks who hate piped-in music at college football games. One thing you umight notice at the Brice is that they do not play the sound for the commercials they show on the video screen (except for the Under-Armour commercial with Spurrier in it). They played the sound for one game years ago and drowned out the band. So many people complained, that ever since then the commercials have no sound.

I'm sorry, but wherever the music is coming from, its stupid. Everybody jumping up and down waving their towels....it looks like a rave or something.

We were wondering if the halftime show was going to be signed by the guys from Jindal's pressers, cause we sure could not hear them playing. The stadium is pretty cool looking, and the benches beat the Hell out of the benches in TS, but the piped in music is so (pick it) NFL/High School. Have to admit to never seeing porta-lets inside a stadium before.

Speaking of which, went in two porta-potties that were about to overflow yesterday-don't they know how much beer we can process in a day's work? It had to suck for the ladies.

Fans pretty gracious-had a lot of fun with the I-Hop full of cocks after midnight last night. Most took our ribbing in good humor. The pimps stood out in the South End Zone. Had a great time in the Vista area-the Liberty Tap Room takeover Friday was fun. They said they usually are closed about 11, but change their hours when LSU comes to town. Got to shoot the breeze with Blackledge and some of the ESPN crew that were staying at our hotel. One thing that is clear-it is really tiring for those guys living on the road.

Tailgating at Blowfish pregame was a blast. Those cops out there have never seen a party like ours, and seemed to be loving it. Thanks to a couple of the TD guys for inviting us over-we had a blast!

And to all the USCe fans that posted helpful tips-we owe ya! Not since I was in Tiger Band was it so easy to pack booze into a football game.

It can't be too confusing sherlock, FSU is averaging 37.3 points a game and LSU is averaging 31.2.

It is not unexpected though he has more to work with in Tallahassee.
