I also might add. I know a couple of assistant coaches of Saban through the years. When Bama screws up and Saban looks fiery and pissed, it's almost always because it was something they addressed in practice and someone screwed up at their job of addressing it (whether it be the guy on the field or the guy in charge).

When you 've prepared for every possible eventuality and players still make the mistakes, that's a damn good reason to be angry.

That's in contrast to what we see from Orgeron on the sidelines, which is bewilderment.

It seems like he's thinking "I didn't expect this."

Come on now. You have done a good job showing that the offensive line has highly rated recruits playing on it, but don't deny that the 2014 and 2015 defensive line classes were abysmal.

Actually, our current starting DL is, according to the recruiting rankings, our most talented unit on defense.

talented yes. Very young and very shallow though. D line isn't like offensive line where the guys rarely substitute. A really good defensive line is going to be able to rotate 6-8 guys to keep them fresh and effective the entire game.

There isn't a single defensive lineman from our 2104 & 2015 class on this team.

I won’t disagree that Dline depth is an issue. We’ve missed on some big DL recruits in the last few cycles and had a few that didn’t pan out (Valentine). Hopefully our transfer from TT and Shelvin will help out next year.

OP:
Does this mean that "he talks like us" isn't working anymore?
