complaining about the offense is just wrong. it scares away recruits and is mean to the coaches and players. les miles is a nice guy and a family man. we should leave him alone.

It's called standing up for/backing up your players/team.

I know it's a concept some have a hard time grasping.

you're clueless. Miles didn't whine....he told it like he saw it. you want tawdry....talk about the assholes who boo our players who are out there on the field one snap away from a lifetime in a wheelchair.

you just can't wait for us to lose....can you?

All he did was answer a media question about booing and basically stated it was wrong to boo the team. How is that whining?

I'm about tired of this argument. You guys can try to justify the boos all you want. I don't care if anyone was booing because they deserved it.....

but on the series where Jefferson threw the ball at the WR's feet three times, you guys were booing him. The coaches had nothing to do with those throws. You can argue till you're blue in the face, but I call bullshite.

The coaches were booed. I know this. But so was Jordan Jefferson. Liars. Man up and admit the shite.

Saban did it...don't remember all the "brook trout look" and "catastrophe syndrome" phrases at the press conferences in 2000?

The difference is Saban was constructive in his criticism. Miles came off as a douchebag. How about the irony in that!

Prom, WTF are you talking about? You sound angry and delusional.

A post of mine from yesterday.

I'm sure a few idiots actually booed JJ, but there are idiot fans at every program. Almost all the booing was directed at Les Miles and he deserved every bit of it.

Bull. shite.

That one series where he couldn't make the throw, it was painfully obvious where the boos were directed at. It was pretty damn loud on tv as well.

Right. This was sort of an acknowledgment that there was at least a tinge of rationality to the fan's reaction, with an assertion that we're doing something to fix what you're concerned about.

Neither of which I've seen in anything Miles has said.

I don't like any booing of our team. It is just counterproductive and it looks bad.

But when your offense and QB are ranked in the 100s, it is going to happen. It's not an LSU thing. Florida, Bama, any top tier team that had the same situation would have booers.

I don't do it and I don't condone it, but it is what it is. Complaining about the QB situation doesn't change it and complaining about the complainers doesn't change anything either.

I already said that he was getting booed you fricking idiot. And it wasn't right that that happened to JJ.

Uncommon Cents, how 'bout that LSU offense?

IMO its less that and more a coach sticking up for his team...they just might appreciate someone doing that since the fanbase isn't.

I'm sure they would appreciate better play calling also, but I don't see how its so inconceivable for a coach to take up for his team...

Why did you ask the question then?

But I dont think a coach making an attempt do defend his players from abusive behavior is tawdry. Maybe misguided in the way he presented his argument, but not cheap.

Sounds like he deserved to get booed... Stop throwing the ball in the dirt and make a play.
