Same answer if you flip the question. Most years 'Bama cannot defeat LSU twice.

A game you shouldn't have been close to playing in...try winning your division next time.

We played the game.
It didn't look like that to me...

The craziest part of the whole ordeal was having to play another SEC team in a bowl game. Something that hasn't happened in 60 years and Bama fans act like it was nothing and was never even mentioned by ESPN. Espn should be ashamed at themselves. Not once did they show the resume of Bama and OSU until after the bowls were set. Never , in the history of the BCS , has teams Ben chosen by the eyeball test. Every year it is based on the teams resume.
ETA: after last year , I couldn't care less about the BCS trophy. It's a popularity contest. If it had been Oklahoma or Texas instead of Oklahoma State, no way are they left out of the game while having a far better resume. The SEC championship is the only one I care about now. It's the only trophy won on the field and not some espn driven popularity test. Bama only beat 3 teams with a winning record and had one hard game and lost , at home.
Bama had zero to lose and played like it. Bama posters seem to forget that they went 1-1 against LSU last year.

We pretty much own them in the 2000's

The game was played regardless of whether or not anyone agrees with the way it happened. Excluding it would be Bama logic, not LSU.

So you left out the most important game between our two teams in the history of SEC football.
ESPN told me that was played on 11/5/11?

Actually, Bama has the comfort of knowing they only have to win once. So, if you flip the question, the answer for them is "never". They beat us in November, we are out.

If we were the ones that backed into the game on 1/9...I think we would have won too.

IMO , if we lose to Bama on Nov.5th, no way do we get a rematch. Espn would've been saying," LSU had their chance".

Um... how many field goals did your team miss in Tuscaloosa? I love how, in making your argument that you desrved to have a remedial game with us, you guys completely undermine the importance of winning in Bryant-Denney. Apparently, home field advantage doesn't matter there because if the visiting team wins, it's not a big deal.
By the way, both OK State and LSU won ALL of their home games last year.
Of course, I don't know why we're arguing with a Gump. Facts are inconveniences to them.
