If I were an OkSt fan I would be highly pissed forever about this. It is really one of the worst miscarriages in the modern history of sports.
No team deserves a second shot when others have had no shot, just because some people "think" they are the 2nd best team.
Totally wrong and I still cant believe this system let it happen.

Yes i keep touting this stat because all you do is keep saying look at who Okie St beat... I did and it wasnt that impressive. They played more top 25 ranked teams, i get it. But, all of those top ranked teams had 3+ loses. And thats mostly because of conference play. I mean they beat Oklahoma, who lost to unranked Texas Tech at home. They dont get as many points for that win, because Oklahoma lost 3 games. Thats my point. THEY DONT GET AS MANY PTS IN THE BCS BECAUSE EVERY TEAM THEY BEAT LOST 3 OR MORE GAMES. YOU WANT EVERY TEAM YOU BEAT TO WIN AS MANY GAMES AS THEY CAN.
And considering that Bama played the #1 team in LSU and the #3 team in Arkansas, and came out with the only loss of the season to #1LSU, id say Bamas competition looked just as tough or tougher than Okie St. SEC wins > B12 wins.

So without doing any research, you came to that conclusion. You're a chump.
Arky had two losses, all of Bama's other opponents had 3 or more losses also. Once again, you have no facts and look like a buffoon.

Oh really? Dude, all I said was "it almost did in 2011". If you could have heard what I and my friends had to listen to in '05 and '07 (and even in some BR games), you would be embarrassed to be a Bama fan.
I was saddended and mortified by the 58 souls who lost their lives in the state of Alabama on that April 27.
Evidently, the 1,100 who died in Louisiana due to the Federal Government's faulty levee walls somehow gives people from other states carte blanche to kick them when they're down.
That's what I call "trashy."
In all fairness, many other "fans" of other teams
have shown their true colors since August 2005:
Falcons fans, Bears fans (ugh), Cowboy fans, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Florida fans etc.
Alabama wasn't even close to the worst though.

Haha Arkys 2 losses came to #1 LSU and #2 Bama. And yes all of Bamas other opponents did have 3 losses except us and Arky, but thats 2 more than Okie St had. Thanks for proving my point.
In the BCS system, you want every team you beat to win as many games as they can. Thats how you get points. We didnt lose any games, so Bama got more points.
And id rather be a buffoon than be a guy living in the past, still bitching about how we got screwed and all this crap. Its kinda embarrassing.
If we would of beaten Bama in the NCG, would you be bitching about how Okie St didnt get in? No, I dont think you would.

I'm not reading thru here to see all the Bama tards predictable responses, but its worth mentioning again that they beat a grand total of 3 FBS teams that had a winning record in the regular season. In the rough and tumble meat grinder SEC, they only managed to beat 2 winning teams. Alabama's was the worst resume of any team to make the BCS CG in its 14 year existence. Funny how the emphasis went from SOS to "eyeball" tests real quick.

Without knowing the result of 1/9, the only way you can say that is because they are Bama and have Nick Saban.

I doubt there are many instances where you put two closely matched teams in a series of two games and one team wins both games. We won when it counted on Nov 5th, but it ended up not counting for shite. We had no chance when they voted Bama into the BCS even after losing Nov. 5th. That game was such a cop-out.

And I do agree that we won when it counted. It opened the door for every other team in the country to get their shite together and if they win out, they would be playing us in the NCG. But what happened? Everyone else dropped the ball and didnt win when it mattered to them. Okie St lost to freaking Iowa St. Cant put them in.

Remove team names from your mind. Look at the entire season and not just one game. Then tell me what team was more deserving.
OSU wins that every time. You can't argue that. If you try, you make yourself look like a moron that doesn't care for rankings and only cares about the name of the program.
